Thomas looked at Jake and almost didn't recognize him. Thomas knew Jake as a genius among geniuses but never did he find him a physical threat to him as he did now. Jake had a presence similar to the Parthian that had torn through Thomas' home.
A low voice spoke to him, but it made him inwardly shudder, "I never expected to meet you here."
Jake, for a fraction of a second, had a conflicted expression on his face before it disappeared. Jake looked the supreme commander dead in the face before saying, "You should give up."
Thomas, still in shock, just continued to stare at Jake standing in front of him. Jake looked back at the battle-torn field with a hint of sadness on his face that confused Thomas. Jake had always been a logical person, and so he knew that Calvis was an impossible feat for the Xuhan to beat. Jake knew that Calvis only gave him a fraction of his power, but he knew even he would be enough to overcome the Xuhan's armies.
Jake's green eyes flashed as he looked at Thomas again. He told him in a severe tone, "If Calvis wanted he could have destroyed this planet within seconds. He is Parthian royalty and a powerful one at that."
Thomas looked at Calvis and understanding flashed on his face. It was recorded in their annals of history the one thing for Xuhans never to do was to oppose Parthian royalty directly. These beings single-handidly ruled Galaxies and created Pantheons to enforce their rule.
Thomas spoke for the first time as his expression twisted and cruel, "I know what you are. You sure are lucky, Parthian Royalty personally chose you to rule this galaxy with him."
Jake looked at Thomas and said, "I won't rule it alone, come with me commander help rule the Galaxy by my side."
Jake knew that things were different now. He was no longer under Xuhan leadership but instead was part of Calvis's faction. Jake also knew that Thomas came here to risk his life with his men instead of letting a different general take over. Thomas stood behind the lines of his men knowing that if they failed, he would die horribly, but he stood by anyway, ready to join the fight at a moments notice.

The Xuhan elders sat in a room waiting for the results of the battle against the Xuhan anxiously. Tensions were high because this operation had a high risk of making the Parthian angry.
A nervous elder forgot himself and yelled, "Release the nova charge and kill that crazy Parthian and his army. Who cares about some suicide army that probably died by now anyway."
The elders looked at this miscreant that often let his emotions get the better of him, and the somewhat fat man immediately quieted down.
The presiding elder, a man with tall stature and natural charisma, looked at the man and said, "First, we don't leave people behind. Second of all, you have to put more consideration in your words. The Nova Charge will destroy everything only leaving this pocket dimension, and I would rather not destroy our millennia-old cultural center."
The presiding elder paused before saying, "We will wait a little longer before we let loose the power of a supernova." After that, the presiding elder looked ahead. The only sign of his trepidation was the twiddling of his finger before a red button located before him.

"I will join," said a tall man standing in front of Jake.
