Chapitre 73: Yellow Eyes
Rainy- they look strong.
Hermione-... yeah...
Hagrid then got closer with the hippogriffs and all the class except me took a step back.
Hagrid- So, if you want to come a bit nearer...
I got closer to one of the hippogriffs, and the creature got on its guard.
Hagrid- careful, careful. The first thing you need to know is that the hippogriffs get easily offended. Never insult one, cause it might be the last thing you do.
I took another step forward, and the hippogriff took a step back, something that surprised Hagrid.
Rainy- I see... aren't you a proud hippogriff? Why are you intimidated by me?
I took another one, and the hippogriff bowed it's head.
Hagrid- ...err he's being polite. Is their way of doing things. If you bow now he should let you touch him.
Rainy- I see, polite magical creatures. You are pretty cool, hippogriff.
then I bowed my head, and it got closer to me. I extended my hand, something that startled a little the creature, but when it saw that I did nothing, he got closer and caressed my hand with it's head.
Rainy- this creatures are amazing, Hagrid. I have to show you my chocobo.
Hagrid- your what?
Malfoy- this is what I was telling you, Rainy!

Then Malfoy got closer to another hippogriff
Malfoy- this classes are absurd! This birds get scared by the students--
Rainy- Idiot!
I ran forward, seeing that the hippogriffs don't like being called birds. At least not in that disrespectful way. And I got between Malfoy and the hippogriff that was attacking with it's claws. I thought command! magic! protect! And protected myself with my arm. The claws made a cut in my arm, but not that big, and while the claws were inside my arm, I looked to the hippogriff to the eyes. My eyes totally yellow. The next thing was the hippogriff running behind Hagrid. And I calmed myself.
Hagrid- Buckbeak! You shouldn't do that! Rainy, are you okay?
Rainy- of course I am. I can make my skin as hard as steel, so it just made some holes. If not it would have severed the arm. I hope you know what you did, Malfoy.
Malfoy- that beast attacked me! It's dangerous! I'll talk with my father!
Rainy- maybe. But nothing happened, and if you talk to your father... what are you going to tell him? now let's continue with the class. With luck, after what you have done, everyone will respect them more.
Malfoy- the beast has made a hole in your arm!

My eyes begun to glow yellow again while I was saying that, and she got white.
Hagrid- now, now. Nothing happened, and the hippogriffs are nervous about what just happened, so let's begin to explain about them looking at the books. Page 20.
The rest of the class was pretty normal. Malfoy was white since the attack, and Pansy was looking at me sometimes with fear and suspicion. We learned about the hippogriffs and Hagrid told us that after you bow, and they bow, you should be able to mount them and fly with them. Of course always being respectful and polite towards them.
After the class we got to dinner and Luna joined our table.
Luna- how was your first Care of Magical Creatures class? Hagrid is a good guy...
Rainy- pretty interesting. The problem is that it was with the Slytherin group, and Malfoy got attacked by an hippogriff.
Luna- but he's on the Slytherin table...
Rainy- because I got in the middle, and saved him... I can't even think of what would have happened to Hagrid if the dumb hippogriff had damaged Malfoy.
Harry/Ron- It was Malfoy's fault!
Rainy- but the one who would have gotten fired would have been Hagrid! It was Malfoy's fault, but I had to save him.
Hermione- I think you did the right choice.
Rainy- yeah, he's just an idiotic boy, not an evil enemy or something like that.
Luna- well, it seems it was an interesting first class... I like hippogriffs...
Rainy- they were scared of me. They bowed to me waiting for me to bow to them.
Luna- really? Hahaha, I did not expect less from you...
After the dinner Hermione and I went to the common room, and sat down on a corner.
Hermione- I have one question.
Rainy- what?
Hermione- what was what you did with your eyes?
Rainy- what?
Hermione- when you looked to Pansy. You said to her that you were the most dangerous creature, and your eyes turned yellow. And I think when Buckbeak attacked you, they turned yellow too.
Rainy- well, no idea... I don't have a mirror in front of my face.
Hermione- true... I'm just worried...
Rainy- why?
Hermione- because it was scary, and dark... you looked evil for a moment there.
