Chapitre 12: Day 12

Mr. Green is angry with me, but frankly I don't care. We headed into that storm as he instructed. The winds blew the ship in all directions. Lightning. Thunder. Massive piles of water coming on board the ship. The ship was tearing itself apart. I commandeered the ship to try to navigate the storm, but to no avail. I had no control over the ship. It was the storm commandeering the ship. Not me. The force of the waves striking at the Raging Squid. Pieces blew off. The sails tore and the wood splintered.

I saw crew members getting dragged across the ship floor into the open sea. The screams of those getting launched off the ship and into the ocean. Even those who had to work inside had to feel the wrath of the storm. Most of our crew members are now injured or dead. Mr. Green is surprisingly alright. Just a few scratches and minor bruising. Mr. Wizzerson was unconscious, but still breathing. He hit his head hard. Harry was with me when the ship was battling the ongoing storm. We both are relatively healthy. We have only a couple of doctors onboard, but they will have to work hard to fix up our crew. Meanwhile, the crew members who are still able to move their arms and legs will need to get to repairing the ship itself.

We never should have gone into that storm.

Oh. I forgot to mention why Mr. Green is angry with me. It's because I had to take a detour to get out of the storm. He was really pissed about not staying on course, but with his cartographer unconscious, he won't be able to draw any more added water onto his map.

Update: I have to get this out. I didn't want to include this, but I felt like I needed to. When I was in that storm, I heard that voice again. The voice telling me to go north-west. It was louder. It came, coincidentally, from the north-west. I thought to myself that it was worth a try to get out of the storm. I steered the ship towards that direction and suddenly, the storm's power started to weaken. I was able to get out of that storm by moving in that direction. I can still see the storm from here, though. As if it was following me, but keeping a far enough space away from the ship.
