After her phone call, she went downstairs to see if there is any work she could do.
Nancy saw her and rushed towards her. "Madam, are you ok? It's been 11 hours you were upstairs in your room", she asked caringly.
"I am fine. I fell asleep reading a book", Noor said with a smile on her face.
"You missed your lunch shall I prepare something for you now?" Nancy questioned.
"Um… No, I am not hungry. Prepare it for Jimmy he will be home soon. Oh! And is there anything that I can help you with? Is there anything to do?" Noor enquired with puppy eyes.
"Well if you are bored then why you don't water the plants", Nancy looked at her with her big round eyes.
Noor smiled at her and nodded. She left to water some plants.
…
At 10:00 PM, Jimmy entered the house and changed his shoes. Nancy saw him and took a glass of water to him.
Jimmy greeted with a fun tone, "Hi, Nancy…"
"Hello, Master…" she greeted back with a little giggle.
Such was the aura of Jimmy. He was a great man; he knew he had flaws that he was not perfect. And this non-perfection somewhere made him a great husband, a great leader, and an entertainer. He never treated anybody bad unless they messed with him; he never regarded his house servants as his property. He always respected elders; he was not cold towards people. He used to go great lengths for his loved ones, and he was warm and friendly.
His arrival changed the complete atmosphere. Now the air was much lively.
"Master, there is something I want to tell you…", Nancy said with a worried tone.
Jimmy sat on the couch and asked, "Sure, go ahead".
"Master, Madam Noor feels lonely in this house. She locks herself up in the bedroom for hours. She skips meals and asks me if there is anything she could do to pass time", Nancy complained.
"Hmmm… but I don't even know her hobbies. How can I help her?" he asked Nancy.
"Well, why don't you talk to her? And you can always take her out for dinner. I believe she will feel better", Nancy had sparkles in her eyes.
"Not a bad idea…", Jimmy stood up from the couch. "Where is she right now?"
"She must be in her bedroom right now", Nancy pointed towards the light beaming out of the creaks of the bedroom door.
Jimmy handed over the laptop and suitcase to Nancy and went upstairs.
