Chapitre 2: Second Meeting
The lift doors opened on the top floor, the meeting had finished and it was time to face President Night.
The stunning blonde sitting at his executive assistants desk looked up at my approach
"Tasha I presume?"
She looked me up and down in a not too friendly way so I straightened, raising my chin
"That's me."
She stood and gestured for me to follow as she approached a pair of imposing double doors. I gulped as she opened the door and stepped through.
The office was sparkling clean, very modern with a massive slate coloured desk behind which Mr gorgeous sat looking at me with an intensity that had my stomach filling with butterflies. This was not the time to lose control of my hormones!
I cleared my throat as blondie introduced me and focused on a spot just over President Nights shoulder. The clicking of the door closing as blondie left jerked me back to reality and I accidentally locked eyes with him again.
"You summoned me?" I questioned as he leaned back in his chair.
"Tasha I'm giving you one opportunity to keep your job. Do you have anything to say to me?"
The smug look on his face had my temper spiking and I smiled through gritted teeth
"President Night, I already apologised for bumping in to you but if someone accidentally bumping into you is enough for you to fire them then I probably don't want to work here anymore!"
With that I turned on my heel throwing over my shoulder "consider this my resignation" as my hand closed over the door handle doing a victory dance in my head when a hand grabbed my arm and spun me around. President Night was leaning over me his lips a millimetre away from my own
"Little girl are you seeking death talking to me like that?"
His lips brushed mine as he spoke. He was even more gorgeous up close and I cursed myself as I felt my cheeks heat.
"Sir remove your hands or I will call the police - this is assault!"
I shoved him away.. and he didn't move an inch.. instead he smiled that of a panther toying with his prey
"You succeeded in getting my attention, be my woman."
