Chapitre 11: Hunting and swimming and...
Sofia and Lisa told to the knights on duty that the sorceress was going to train in the near woods. After a little time of arguing, there was nothing the knights and the staff could do. After all, Sofia had lied that the Duke had given her the permission to do so and the sorceress wasn't exactly someone from the common folk. Well, to her, it was bullshitting.
'I am starting to like this sorceress title and the bullshitting ability, so easy now', Sofia though while she walked into the forest with Lisa who had taken a spear with her and a shovel. The forest was extremely safe since it was normal for knights to purge it every now and then while hunting for training. The possible animal and higher tier monsters avoided it for that reason.
Both women were carrying a rucksack. Lisa had some week old meat with her that was taken from mansion's greenhouse's compost. Well, there wasn't much of meat left, it was more of a rotting bone with some bits on it. Sofia was keeping a distance from her since the smell wasn't most tempting.
To Lisa, this was exactly like her childhoods worm-hunt. She would not be able to smell anything else than the sickening smell of old blood, yeast and mold for the rest few days.
They had walked, what Sofia had estimated, about three kilometers. Then Lisa stopped.
"We are going to stop here already?" Sofia asked and looked around. There was a small bond next to the women.
"Yes miss. There is water here. The ground is easy to dig and it's moist. There is most likely no better place close to the mansion than this small pond. Miss, do you know magic that could make a pit by any chance?"
"No. I have read about few spells, but all I can do is that illuminate. I could try something... but, it would be my first time trying it and I am actually slightly afraid about blasting myself into the sky again."
"Hmmh. Well, it's good that I got the shovel. I start digging miss. Stay a bit back so you don't get muddy."
"Eh. We should take turns. I'll put down the picnic equipment while you start. Just tell me when you want to have a break and I dig instead."
Since they were going to spend whole day inside the forest, they had taken quite a lot food and water with them. Sofia put down her rucksack and took out a huge cloth. On it they would eat.
'Would be nice to go to swim in that pond. Wait...'
Lisa was starting to dig.
"Hey, Lisa!"
"Miss?"
"Is that pond safe?"
"Eh... why so, I suppose it is. I mean, when I was younger I did swim... "
'...swim in ponds like that. Miss, you going to... '
"I was wondering if it is safe to swim later after we are done with the digging."
Lisa's tail was like a lightning had stricken into it.
"Eeeeh! Swim. Um. Yes."
'Swimming together!'
For some reason, the fox-maid was digging like she was in hurry to reach the other side of the globe.
"Lisa?"
"EEK! Yes, miss."
'Is she daydreaming? Wait... is she really into... women? Or is she shy? This is troublesome. But I want to go to the pond at some point. It's so damn hot out here. And these black original clothes don't help single bit. Why didn't I just take my normal clothes. Fucking Christ, I am an idiot.'
"Lisa, you should probably take the main parts of the maid outfit off at least. You get all muddy you know."
The fox was red as a heated pan.
"Yes, miss. I... put them there on the tree next to you."
"That's fine. I go check the temperature."
"Temperature?"
'I don't feel any fever. What temperature is miss talking about?'
"The water of course. What were you thinking then? You are daydreaming a lot Lisa!"
"Um. Nothing. I start digging so we get this done. Just relax miss."
The water was warm. It was late summer anyway. This was six month, the Month of Life. Considering water being warmed by the sun for whole summer, there was no way, that it was going to be cold.
The water itself was clear and the pond's sand bottom was easily detectable. From fast measurement, the pond was about twenty spears across and got really deep in the middle. The first five spears from the shore, the pond was barely a spear deep, then the water went dark. To Sofia, it seemed that in the middle of the pond, there was a pit or it could be underground water cave.
'Should I go to swim now. Lisa is still digging and I need to work soon too. If I go swim now, then I need to go swim again. What the heck. I want to swim.'
Sofia walked back to her rucksack and started stripping. She put down the rope and her shirt and dropped her dress on the cloth too. Then she took of her bras. Normally, Sofia used bras only when she was doing workout. While studying for long time on bed or alone, she let herself be free. This was one thing the new Sofia had learned, really, really, really fast. Sofia's breast were quite heavy and she had Lisa to massage her every now and then. Having big breast turned out to me bless and a curse at the same time.
'Should I massage Lisa at some point, does she have back pains too? Hers aren't that huge. No, that pervert already was blushing now! I can tell she is watching! If I don't make sure, something could happen! I need to take care of my sister's body for her sake.'
"KYAAAAAH!" Lisa screamed behind Sofia.
Sofia turned with haste.
"What happened?"
The fox had its tail and ears shooting straight up to the air.
"M-miss, what are you doing?"
"Huh?"
"Y-you are almost naked."
"You are assuming I am going to swim with my clothes on? Hello, did your brains melt or something?"
'I suppose I could. I feel somewhat shy, even though we are both women now.'
"Eh. Um. M-miss?"
'Yes, now they do. Those are huge! Miss is blessed! I never thought! Though I felt them when we hugged, I never imagined that under... I always turned away... such a regret! I must not let her bath alone anymore! No wonder she demanded to bath alone in the first place! Miss must get a lot of attention! No wonder she wears such huge rope! DAMN ROPE!... I thought she had some fillings... and was shy, b-but... is miss a sexual harassment victim? Miss I am sowwyyy! I don't mean to stare!'
"Lisa? I am now going to go swim now. Stop daydreaming! When I am done, I take the turn to dig and you go swim alone!"
'I know what you are thinking...'
"B-but!!! Alone?"
"NO BUT(T)S!!!"
Sofia was quite angry to both, the damn lesbian and to herself. The man inside her, couldn't deny that her eyes checked the maid's body when she went to swim on her turn.
'Dig! Dig! Dig! Let her swim... miss forgive me, just a glance.'

And that was how they worked until midday had passed.
The pit was done and a stick was stuck to it's side. The rotting meat was hang on it and small amount of water poured on it. Sofia went and leaned on a tree. She had the black cloak on her. All the sweating and swimming made her feel slightly chilly.
"So Lisa. How long does it normally take?"
"Eh, um. When I was hunting in my childhood, it took probably hours. At least four maybe... and there might actually be nothing here."
Sofia had taken a nature-science book from her rucksack. There was an image of the creature. It was pretty boring looking, like a huge fly larva. Though its color was dark brown and it had a small needed on its other end and the "head" end looked like an anus. Pretty much how Sofia had imagined it, disgusting and uninteresting.
'Logbook. Status.

'I should have not dig and swam so much. But I had to get my mind something else to think... argh.'
"Miss, you look a little bit tired. Want me to make you tea?"
"We are in woods. How you going to make tea here?"
"There is few small metal mugs in your rucksack miss. I make fire and boil waster in those mugs. Takes quite a while to get preparations done, but there isn't much anything else here to do. It's just you and me."
'I should have said that differently.'
"Eh. Ah. Sure. Just make some for yourself too. Since we are here. I rest a bit. By the way, does making sound scare those worms?"
"No, they have no ear holes. The worms are absolute deaf." Lisa went to Sofia's rucksack and gave her a smile.
Soon she was starting to build a small campfire while humming happily.
'I can't even try to use spells here. That mana pool issue. Ah. I suppose it's time read then until she is finished with the tea. Hmmh. At this rate, it is going to be dark when we return to the mansion. I need to do this few days in row at least. I will use magic casting as an excuse. Hopefully Henry doesn't get mad about this. Ah. My hands hurt. Did I get a fracture again?'

'God dammit! I just close my eyes for a while.'

"Miss. Miss, wake up. We got one. It's small, but there is one!'
Lisa was poking Sofia's shoulder.
"W-what time. I slept again? Tea?"
"I saw you sleeping so I just prepared the fireplace for tomorrow. Aren't we coming back then? There is no tea miss. You have been sleeping two and half hours."
"EH? I am sorry, I don't know what came up to me. But, you said there was one?"
"Yeah. It's in the pit. Curling on the bottom. If we don't deal with it soon enough, it will eventually leave because it can't reach the bait."
"Well, then there is no time to waste. Give me the spear and I poke some new air holes to that worm!"
There it was. About half a spear in length -- brown spear worm. It moved like it was sniffing the air. The pit wasn't really deep. Only barely half a spear too. If the worm wanted, it could possibly get out. On the side of the pit was a small round hole. From there the worm had come out.
"Well let's see. Lisa, give me the spear."
'Young spear worm. Level 6.

Sofia thrust the spear into the worms needle-end. There was no sound. It just took it like a worm, shaking and curling into a doughnut. Sofia kept poking until the worm was completely dull.
'Status. Level 7. 13%'
'So I gained about 11% from this one kill and it is not even fully grown adult. Pretty much, but the experience gain amplification has a lot to do with this. Though this is quite a lot, I don't see any more worms here now. It's a bit of a lottery I suppose.'
"Eh, miss. Did it work?"
"Ah. Yes, I think, but I can't be sure yet if this is a good way to gain experience."
"Eh. I have been wondering miss. How do you know that this is ... working?"
"Hmmh... I suppose I can tell you since you know that I am low level."
"Y-yes miss."
"Umu. It seems that after the experiment I did, I am able to see how my level progress is going."
"W-what! I have never heard of anything like that! That's amazing! Miss is amazing!"
"Just don't tell anyone."
"My lips are yours... I mean sealed!"
It was 5 pm. Sun was starting to show signs of evening's arrival.
"Miss. It takes about a half an hour to walk back if we don't hurry. When do you want to return to the mansion?"
"Hmmh. Maybe we should leave in few hours. The dark comes about at 9 pm so we still have time and maybe with luck we get another one. That tea though? We could make some here and have some evening snack. There should be something left still from the dinner."
"True. I go start fire. Don't fall asleep again."
'Though I don't mind carrying miss to the mansion... kufufufufu.'
Sofia went to the shore. There was nothing to do and she felt somewhat energetic. Day by day, it felt that she needed less and less sleep. That little nap was quite good. Though her knuckles were tickling and her hands shook, like small needles were constantly sticking her fingers.
She took few small rocks into her palm and started to skim stones. She wasn't particularly good at it, but few of them bounced twice or once at least. One did bounce five times, but that one she felt in her shoulder.
Time was flying.
"Miss. The tea is ready! Miss? You are spacing out again."
Lisa walked next to Sofia.
"Everything right miss?"
"Yes. I was just thinking."
"Umu. Well, the tea is now ready. We should probably drink it. There is no more worms in the trap... even though now there is a dead one there. They are cannibal-species so if we leave it like that, we might tomorrow find some worms even waiting on the bottom."
"Hmmh. That sounds good. Today haven't been as successful as I was hoping it to be in all honesty."
'Hmmh. Miss is somewhat melancholic.'
"Don't worry miss. We catch more tomorrow."
"Lisa. What is that."
"What? Miss"
Lisa looked at Sofia's face. Miss Rivermore was staring at the lake. Lisa turned to observe the small lake too.
"Eh. Miss what do you mean? There is just the pond there. I don't see anything."
"It's coming this way. Under water!"
A long shadow was moving underwater. It was soon going to hit the shore.
'Dark-scaled shock snake. Level approx 30.

Thread: FATALITY!'
Sofia was turning to run away.
"M-miss? What...", Sofia saw the five spears long shadow moving towards them, "Miss! Run!"
"I am at it already!"
"FASTER!"
"WHERE THE FUCK DID THAT COME FROM!"
"THERE HAS TO BE UNDERGROUND LAKE MISS! THIS WAS SUPPOSE TO BE SAAAAFEEE!"
Then the monster hit the shore. The women were not too far away from it.
It was obviously supposed to live underwater, but it was still a snake-type so it could move fast on the land too. It had black-scales and black eyes, four eyes. Small little fished came to surface after it, they had gotten electrified. In the evening sun, its scales glimmered like they were oiled and in the tip of its tail was a bone-covered harpoon head. It was coming directly towards women.
There was no running from it.
