"Well, if I am that good, then why did my girlfriend dump me?" Jacob smirked, rolling his eyes thinking about Hanna. He could not help but remember Hanna's intimacy with the guy he saw on television.
"Well that is her loss! She failed to see the man behind this sad face but that anyhow does not make you any less capable. You can have any girl if you want to. You should have seen the way girls were looking at you in the cafeteria. They were oggling at you, from head to toe!" Isa looked at the man, in complete seriouseness.
"Haha! That's really sweet of you to say that. Thank you!" Jacob smiled, looking at the girl. He knew the girl was only saying this, just make him feel good about himself.
"Again!! Don't think I am saying this, just to increase your confidence! I actually mean it. It is a shame to see a wonderful and good-looking person like you, waste his life." Isa pursed her lips, looking at Jacob.
"Thank you! I will try and remember your words." Jacob smiled again looking at the girl, feeling happy listening to the compliments.
Though Isa was only telling him the truth, but Jacob was actually thankful to her. At that particular time, he needed somebody to boost up his confidence and self-esteem. Isa was doing exactly that!
"Do remember it. Our worth does not depend upon how a person looks at us. It tells more about them, not us!" Isa patted the boy's hand and then turning her head downwards, towards the book.
"Hmmm! Right!" Jacob was yet constantly looking at Isa, while she had already started reading the book. He was noticing her every little action, as to how she flicked her long hair backwards after every few seconds. How she put the other end of the pencil in her mouth, while thinking of something. The way her long eye lashes flickered, with every blink of her eye.
The more he looked at her, the longer he wanted to admire her!
