Hayri was already bothered by her figurative statements. There's no other reason he could think of that would make him hate her except for the closest possibility that she could be her dad's mistress. If not, she could be the daughter of her dad's other women or flings. He wouldn't also believe that she could be his stepsister, or else his father wouldn't allow them to stay under the same roof together.

"Can you tell me about it now? If you are my dad's mistress or a daughter of one of his mistresses, I swear, I would never hate you. "
