Chapitre 108: Her suprise
Lilac's POV
I miss him already even when he just left. I'm pretty sure that he's asleep in the plane right now. Moreover they will be in the flight for another I don't know how long but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be able to answer my video call any sooner. Why am I getting so clingy to him? What is one day he leaves like everyone else does? What would I do at that time? Soon the tiny angel and devil appear on my shoulder.
"Alright Lilac don't be so depended on others. You know what will happen after that." Devil said.
"No Lilac. You don't need to be always so independent. You will end up hurting yourself in the end." Angel said.
"No don't listen to her. Listen to me. See if you become depended on others, in the end, you would still get hurt." Devil fights back.
"Only when you get hurt, you will learn to be mature Lilac. Don't listen to the devil. She brings nothing good to you. Trust me Lilac. Listen to me. I know that you've been hurt a lot of times but still life needs to go on." Angel said.
As the two of them were still fighting, a phone call broke through the silence. And poof they disappeared. Wow I'm even having imagination. I walk to my night stand to take my phone. Turns out it was Joaane calling me.
"Hey Lilac." Ji An said.
"Hey An." I said.
"How are you doing? I've had just finish my exams which is why I didn't contact you for so long." Ji An said.
"Oh. I'm fine. No wonder I was thinking why you didn't call me." I said.
"Oh I have a surprise for you. Would you open your apartment door?" Ji An said.
"Ok. Don't try anything weird Jo." I said.
I walk to my apartment door and open it. I almost dropped my phone.
"Hello Lilac." Ji An said.
I pounced on her to give her a hug.
"Oh Jo. You don't know how much I miss you." I said while pulling her into a hug.
"Well the same goes to me." Ji An said.
"How come you didn't tell me that you're coming?" I said.
"Well I want to give you a surprise and it work." Ji An said.
"I could have went to the airport to get you because you don't know the place around. I'm worried that you would be lost as you don't know this place well yet." I said.
"Alright alright. Next time I won't do that. Are you going to make me stand here until tomorrow?" Ji An said jokingly.
"Ooopss. I forgot to invite you in. Come bring your luggage in as well." I said.
When she steps into my apartment, she looks at my apartment in awe.
"Wow Lilac. This apartment is so homey and nice. It gives off such a warm feeling." Ji An said.
"Yeah. That's the reason why I don't miss home at all after staying here." I said.
"How I wish I could come here and live as well?" Ji An said.
"When you start working, you can come here and work but you need to be ready of the high cost of living here." I said.
"We'll see about that. I'm sorry that I come unannounced but can I stay at your apartment for now." Ji An asked.
"Sure there's always a room for a friend. Come let me bring you to the guest room." I said motioning her to follow me.
I brought her to the guest room in my house. Then I let her settle down first while I go into the kitchen to prepare some food for both of us. And I need to tell the landlady about her as well.
"Hello auntie. I think my friend would be staying over for a few days. You don't mind right." I asked.
"Nah it's fine. You never had a friend over and this is the first time. More or less you girls won't be that noisy right." The landlady said.
"Ok. Sorry for disturbing you. Bye bye." I said.
"Hmm bye." The landlady said.
