Chapitre 35: Meeting them again

Jung Kook's POV

I don't know whether should I be happy or not with the answer that Lilac had given me. Whatever is it I am willing to wait for her at the gate after class.

To: Manager Sejin

Hyung I need you to fetch me with the minivan today. I'm might be bringing a friend along.

From: Manager Sejin

Is it a girl or a boy?

To: Manager Sejin

It's a girl. It's one of our old friend.

From: Manager Sejin

Do the rest of your hyungs know about this?

To: Manager Sejin

Yes. We agree to invite her together. Please hyung. Let her come with me.

From: Manager Sejin

I'll wait for you at the café nearby your university.

To: Manager Sejin

Thank you hyung.

I can't wait for after class because I really want Lilac to come with me. After class, I walked towards the university gate and saw a girl standing at the gate. My eyes light up with excitement when I saw clearly that it was Lilac. She's really coming back with me. I bet the hyungs will be very happy with this.

"Lilac, let's go. My manager is waiting for me at the café over there." I said.

"Sure let's go." Lilac said.

As we continue walking, I asked her "Did you wait for a long time?"

"No. I just came out from class." Lilac said.

"Oh. I was worried that you would wait for a long time." I said.

"It's ok. I mean like your class is quite far from the gate. Did you run here?" Lilac asked.

"Yeah because I'm worried that you will wait for a long time. It's very rude for me to make you wait because I ask you to come with me in the first place." I said.

"Oh. Next time you don't worry that I would wait for you. Take your time and walk. I wouldn't want you to trip and fall then hurt your face. You realize that you're an idol right so if anything happen to you aren't I at fault?" Lilac said.

I feel over the moon because of the scolding that Lilac gave me. At least she still cares. I thought she wouldn't care anymore after so long but who knows that she would still care for me.

"Okay I won't do it again next time." I said.

When we reached the café, I could see our company minivan there.

"Lilac let's go our manager is here already." I said.

"Ok." Lilac said.

We went on the minivan together but I was shocked when I went inside. Jin hyung and Nam Joon hyung is inside. This is actually a miracle that Nam Joon hyung is willing to leave his studio just to come along with Jin hyung to fetch Lilac.

"Hyung I thought that Sejin hyung will be coming to fetch me how come it would be the both of you." I asked.

"We are too bored staying in the dorm. I got nothing to do anyway." Jin hyung said.

"I don't have any inspiration to write song so I came out to get some fresh air." Nam Joon hyung said.

"Oh. I see." I said.

"Hi guys." Lilac said.

I almost forgotten that Lilac was with me.

"Oh Lilac I almost forgot about you." I said.

Lilac board the minivan and sat at one corner. It seems like she is still reluctant to talk to us. I can feel the awkwardness in the air. I don't know how to break the silence. It's just so awkward and I don't like it but I don't know what to say.
