Chapitre 41: Ouyang Gu
"Now then, now that that is over, who wants to go next?" The Vice Peak Master smiled after clapping a few times. The students all went silent. Noone said anything for awhile as the vice peak master spoke "Well since no one wants to volunteer I guess I'll just need to pick."
"Let's see, Du Fengjing and Di Jongliu." he said
Du Fengjing and Di Jongliu slowly got up as they heard their names. The two headed down to the platform and stood on opposite ends of the platform. At the same time they called their monsters to the field

[Info: A monster that has the body of an ogre with the head of a pig. It has big tusks on the side of its mouth along with a ring pierced in between its nostrils. When it is angry or feels threatened, it will unleash its rage to display its full power making its attacks hit harder and faster by many times in exchange for taking slightly less damage]
The Rage Orc stood on two legs with a club in one hand and an axe on its waist, standing at over five meters in height, it is a giant amongst monsters. The Diamond Tusk's huge body is over six meters in length and about a head shorter than the orc
Thump*
The Diamond Tusk took a step forward as the entire platform began to shake under its immense weight. It's tusks visibly hardened as it sprinted on all fours at the Rage Orc
Snort*
The Rage Orc snorted as it waited for the Diamond Tusk to come closer before winding up its club behind it and swung it forward
Bang* Crash*
The Rage Orc's club as well as the Diamond Tusk's tusks crashed into each other as the platform continued shaking. The Rage Orc seemed as though it was being pushed back by the entire weight of the Diamond Tusk, suddenly, it placed its other hand on the club as its veins bulged slightly
The Rage Orc pushed back the Diamond Tusk with its club before quickly taking it back and swinging another time
Bang*
The Diamond Tusk flew back three meters from where it was standing as its entire body almost tumbled down onto the ground. The Rage Orc slapped its chest with one hand before charging at the Diamond Tusk. It threw its club at the opponent before sprinting, surprisingly despite its large size it was moving at over 50 kilometers an hour
Its arms spread apart in a sumo like fashion as the Diamond Tusk slapped away the club with its trunk. The Rage Orc grabbed the huge tusks of the Diamond Tusk and used its steel like muscles to lift up the entire body of the Diamond Tusk high into the air as the opponent struggled mid air
The Rage Orc roared as it started spinning on the spot over and over and over again for a full 20 seconds creating a huge storm of dust before throwing the Diamond Tusk into the barrier surrounding the platform
Boom*
The Diamond Tusks' huge body slammed against the barrier making a huge crack before it automatically repaired itself in just the blink of an eye. The Rage Orc grabbed its club and pointed it at the Diamond Tusk as if it were looking down on its subject
Clap* Clap*
"Astonishing, good job both of you for displaying your strength for us all to see. Now that this match is over we should begin the next match."
"Who would like to battle against Di Jongliu?" the vice peak master asked
The young man who had defeated Ning Caiyan opened his eyes and made eye contact with the Vice Peak Master who was smiling. "Well, well it seems like Ouyang Gu wants to participate." he said
The handsome young man Ouyang Gu nodded as he headed towards the platform below. As he walked by, Ouyang Gu looked at Ye Qin and Wang Tao before turning around and continuing to make his way down
Standing across his opponent, Ouyang Gu blew air upward to fix his fringe. He then called out his monster as a wisp of black light lit in front of him. Coming out of the Monster Sea, the Super Soldier faced its opponent
Previously when he had fought against Ning Caiyan, the Super Soldier had golden lights shining throughout its body through the gaps in its armor. Now, all one could see is a pitch black figure and being unable to see a face
The Super Soldier kept its twin guns in its holsters as it jumped high into the air reaching the face of the Rage Orc. With an extremely powerful punch that no one could see, a loud bang could be heard on the platform as the Rage Orc suddenly fell backward onto its butt as a loud crash resounded clearly in the ears of everyone
Snort*
The Rage Orc snorted as it shook its head to bring itself back and ready for action. It moved its huge body and swung its huge club down at the Super Soldier standing on the ground below it. With a deafening thud, the ground shook as a shockwave and gust of wind flew upward from where the club had landed
When the smoke cleared, the silhouette of the Super Soldier could be seen standing on top of the club. With a light tap, the club started cracking from the front downward from the mighty force from the Super Soldier's foot
The Super Soldier moved its arm in a provoking matter by moving a single finger back and forward angering the Rage Orc. The Rage Orc slammed its left arm down at the Super Soldier in a grabbing motion. The Super Soldier didn't move as the huge hand grabbed its entire body and began strangling it
When the Rage Orc's trainer thought that he had won, the Rage Orc's hand began swelling with a golden light that exploded as the Super Soldier forced its way out of the huge hand that had grabbed it
It's two arms were swung outward as a golden ball of light formed around its body. The Super Soldier disappeared from the golden ball of light and grabbed the ring attached to the face of the Rage Orc, pulling it down
Awhoo*
The Rage Orc cried out in pain as its entire being started becoming a dark shade of red. Not only that, huge amounts of steam that didn't obstruct the view leaked from its entire body. The Rage Orc had been angered enough for it to use its ultimate ability
It grabbed the huge axe on its back with its left arm and lifted the broken club with its right arm in a swift motion. The Rage Orc swung down the axe swiftly at the Super Soldier before lifting it up and slamming down the broken club in its other hand
It repeated this sequence of attacks with incredible speed as a constant sequence of loud thumping sounds that resembled thunder resounded throughout the platform
Bang* Bang* Bang* Bang*
The Rage Orc's attacks became faster and faster with each swing until its arms looked as though they had disappeared and only a slight blur of movement could be seen. Nobody knew what had happened to the Super Soldier under the onslaught of the Rage Orc
"Is it over?" one of the students asked
"Probably? But Ouyang Gu shouldn't have easily right? Afterall, he's as strong as the other two." another student replied
"But under such a flurry of attacks, is it possible to escape?" the same student asked again
"Who knows, the vice peak master hasn't called for the battle to end, we'll just need to be patient until the end." the student who answered before replied once again
In the eyes of the other students, they couldn't see what was happening below them. However, a certain two boys could see everything that took place down below. The two boys namely Ye Qin and Wang Tao who are used to fast paced battles saw what those their age could not
What they saw is the Rage Orc slamming down its weapons extremely fast, but, even faster than the two weapons is the Super Soldier that is dodging the attacks and standing on each weapon every time it moved
After each time it dodged, it stood on the weapon before jumping back down to where the attacks were aimed at and repeated this without effort. The Rage Orc which has surprisingly sharp senses knew that its attacks didn't do anything as its attack patterns started changing randomly
Some attacks would swing sideways whilst the other attacked vertically or diagonally. It even began attacking around it whether in the air or on the ground as the Super Soldier dodged each and every attack before taking light steps on the weapons without pushing them away
