Chapitre 151: Anuka and Charles

"Nothing special, she lived here until she was 15, then she went to a university of Archaeology to study in Jubilee city, she has a single mother, her father died in an accident, her background seems very normal to me"
"Anything around here that changed, like changes in her family or village?"

"Any relation outside her family?"

The minion answered.
"Have you spoken to any of these friends of her?"
"No, I only spoke to the ones living here in the village, I have to get to Jubilee city to track them down"
"Ok, go to Jubilee city and find out more about Jessica, I don't want any loose ends"
"Ok boss"
The call ended and Jason looked at his phone.
"Maybe this time he really found someone special for him, well time will tell"
Jason said and got back to gaming and crush the noobs he encountered, well Jason has improved a lot and is now one of the best players in the South Cobia server, thanks to his super fast reflexes and high learning potential, he mastered the game after continuously playing it for hours.
His game name 'BLooDSlayeR' has reached the top 100 players in the server, and with the high-end computer, Jason is swiping the competition.

While he is busy playing somewhere far in an unknown dimension, inside Anuka's palace, Anuka is sitting in her bathtub naked and listening to the conversation she has with Jason.
'What an interesting man, I have seen many arrogant fools across the realms and some of them are even decent but they were all a disappointment at the end, but this man he is different, just with that conversation I had with him I can tell that, our meeting will be very interesting'
Anuka giggled and got out of the bathtub and put on a robe, her wet purple hair glistened as it reflected the light from the ceiling.
She got out of the bathroom and wore her normal gown and walked towards the main hall, she noticed Charles sitting on the couch drinking some tea as a maid served him.
Anuka walked next to him and sat down, seeing Anuka, Charles got to his feet and bowed down towards her.
"You can sit down and finish your drink"
Anuka said.
"Thank you, my lady"
Charles said and sat down on the small couch opposite to her and finished his tea, Anuka smiled seeing Charles.
"You seemed to have some fun during your stay in Freyton"
She said.
No one to read Charles better than her, he has been taking care of Anuka from the day she was born, he was there with her in every moment and she was with him.
She knows when Charles is happy.
"Yes, it was indeed a refreshing experience, a trip to Freyton was just what I needed"
Charles answered.
"So who is this woman?"
Anuka asked, hearing the question Charles almost spit out the tea in his mouth but he didn't.
"Lady, it isn't appropriate for you to talk about this, you are young, you should look into old people's matter"
"Come on I am already 1220 years old, the human who you spend your days in Freyton is 1000s of years younger than me"
Anuka said a chuckled.
Charles didn't say anything and continued his drinking.
"You are so boring, and here I thought you would have changed after spending a night with a woman"
Anuka didn't stop her teasing.
"So where do you meet this one?"
Anuka continued asking her questions, Charles sighed, he knew Anuka won't stop until he answers her.
"I was introduced to her by your new partner"
Charles said.
Anuka seems surprised by this.
"Oh looks like my new partner is very special, now I definitely cannot let go of him, to be able to make Charles happy even without seeing him, incredible"
Anuka said and laughed.
She was indeed surprised by how Jason was able to do so, Charles is not someone who would go out with any woman but Jason did it.
Little does she know that Charles never went out with a woman because she would always be with him but this time he went to Freyton alone so he had some time to spend alone.
"Ok enough of this, tell me were we able to trace down that number?"
Anuka asked.
She had told Charles to trace down Jason's number and Charles is busy doing so for these few days.
"No we couldn't, the address of that number just keeps bouncing all over the continent, I cannot even pinpoint it for a second"
Charles said and sighed.
"So we got nothing?"
Anuka asked but just got a shaking head from Charles.

Anuka just looked at Charles for a while and sighed.
"Anything else you found in Freyton?"
She asked.
"Yes, your new partner hold power over that little city like no other, even I am not able to phantom how he got such control over this city"
Charles said.
"Care to explain?"
"Yes, every road, every shop, every nook and cranny of the city is under his watch, he can see everything that is going daily in Freyton, he had eyes and ears everywhere and the scariest of them all is his human pets"
"Human pets?"
"I don't know what should I call them, the whole city is filled with them, they all live independent lives with their family, eats and laughs with each other, have affair, are in love, are protectors, are protection seekers, are old, are young, but when the time comes they can accomplish everything, even I was not able to track down the mana stone that was to be delivered to your partner"
Anuka listened to Charles seriously.
She understood what Charles was saying, her new partner is a phantom who holds power that is unimaginable, thousands of people at his fingertips and no one knows how he looks.
If he wants he can fake a terrorist attack, he can bring down the whole government ruling that area, he can cause a company to go bankrupt.
The power to control a large number of normal people living their normal life is scary and Anuka understands this.
"Looks like we really underestimate humans, when I sat down and start thinking about what will happen when these weak creatures with such intelligence are being controlled by a single person who uses them at his will, what can he not do?"
Charles said and took in a cold breath.
"Indeed, we really don't know the extent of my new partner's power, how much power does he really hold and what is the extent of it, how was he able to gather so much power over this city that is filled with crimes?"
Anuka asked herself.
If she could do what Jason had done she might have control over the whole world and nobody will know about it, just like Jason's case.
"He holds so much power but still the big families and ruling parties in Freyton don't know who the real ruler of the city is"
Charles said.
"Indeed a very mysterious partner I have gotten, I cannot wait to meet him one day, who knows how we will meet"
Anuka said a chuckled.
Charles sighed seeing this, he never understood his lady, she was always mysterious from birth, she was more intelligent than children of her age, she was sometimes kind, sometimes cruel, sometimes cunning, and sometimes benevolent, it all depended on how she felt during the moment.
'I just hope this person is not someone similar to Lady or I don't know what will happen to this world'
Charles thought for himself.
"How about that human you met? did he tell anything?"
"Yes that young man named Derry, I don't know how I should put this, even though he came that day to meet me and talk for your new partner, I cannot tell if he really works under your partner"
"Why do you say that?"
Anuka asked in surprise, she thought she might be able to use this Derry to get to his boss but what Charles said confused her.

"Bring back the Blue Silver"
Charles said.
