Chapitre 144: Derry Falls In Love?
Derry soon reaches the nearest hospital and carries the fainted young lady with him and rush into the hospital, on his way he sees a nurse and stops her.
"She just came in front of my car and got knocked down, please take a look at her"
Derry said.
"Yes, please bring her to the table, we will look into it"
The Nurse instructed Derry to bring her to the A&E room, Derry places the woman on the bed and for the first time he finally gets a clear view of her face, the rest of the ride Derry was focused on getting her to the hospital and her hair were blocking off her face.
'Wow, she is beautiful'
He thought and looked at the young lady in front of him.
"Can you please fill up this form first"
The nurse gives him a form to fill up, Derry nods and fills it up quickly and gives it back to the nurse.
"Do you know who she is?"
The nurse asks.
"No I don't, she came in front of my car out of nowhere, luckily I had just started the car"
He said and sighed.
"Ok, did she have anything on her, like a purse, mobile phone or anything?"
"Yes, it's in my car, I will get it"
He said and walked back to his car and picked up the lady's purse and walked back in, on his way he checked in and found an ID which specified her name.
"So her name is Jessica, she is 20 year's old"
He said and walked in, he gave the purse to the nurse, the nurse searched through the purse and found the ID, she took down the information and gave the purse back to Derry.
"Why are you giving this to me?"
"When she wakes up you can give it back to her, the doctor will be coming in five minutes and will check on her"
The nurse said and walked away, Derry sighed and sat next to the young lady and looked at her.
Suddenly his phone rang and it is from Jason.
"Yes bother?"
He answered.
"Where are you?"
Jason asked.
"Something came up, I will talk to you later"
Derry said.
"Ok fine, go home and rest, don't go fucking around some cheap whores"
Jason said and hung up the call.
'Man how much longer do I have to stay here?'
Derry thought.
The doctor soon came in and did a quick check on her, seeing Derry next to her he handed out a slip with prescriptions on it.
"She is suffering from Mild Concussion, she will be back to conscious within two hours, give her the medicine as per the prescription and she will be fine, let her rest for a day or two"
After saying so the doctor stormed off before Derry could say anything.
'That fucking doctor, why is he in such a hurry, well it's not like his wife is getting fucked by someone for him to rush away like that'
He thought and sighed once again.
Now he has to wait until this young lady gets up, just like the doctor said the lady woke up after 2 hours.
She rubbed her eyes and looked around, she held her head as her head started to sting a little.
"You have finally woken up"
Derry said.
The lady looked at Derry in confusion.
"Do I know you?"
Jessica asked.
"Well know, but about 2 hours ago you came in front of my car out of nowhere and got hit'
Derry said.
"Oh"
She said and remembered what happened.
"I am so sorry, I was in a hurry, I was about to miss my train, but now it looks like I have already missed it"
Jessica said and sighed.
"Well at least nothing serious happened, you could have seriously gotten hurt"
Derry said and passed the prescription to Jessica.
"This is the prescription given by the doctor, it will help you bring down your concussion"
He then passed the prescription and her purse to her, she nodded and took them, she smiled at him and thanked him.
Seeing her smile Derry's heart skipped a beat.
'Man she is too beautiful, but I have to stay strong, I cannot melt here, I have to be like brother Jason if I want to secure this up'
Derry has seen his brother hitting many women and most of them are a success, he can also do it but his success rate is only 40%, seeing how beautiful this girl is in front of him, he has to try harder.
"Ok then Jessica I will be going"
Derry said and got up.
"Wait, how do you know my name?"
"Oh, I looked at your ID, hope you don't mind"
"No, thank you for helping me, by the way, what is your name?"
"My name is Derry"
"Nice to meet you Derry"
Jessica said and smiled.
"Should I stay or do you have someone in the city to pick you up?"
Derry asked.
"No, I don't have anyone in the city, I was about to leave the city but I missed my train, now the next train is in two days"
"Oh, I am sorry, is there any way I can help you?'
He asked.
"No, I have already caused so much trouble for you, I cannot bother you anymore"
"Don't worry, it's my day off, I can be of help, you just need to ask"
"Thankyou"
She said and blushed a little.
"Let's get you discharged, then think about what needs to be done next"
Soon Derry discharged Jessica from the hospital.
On their way out, Derry asked Jessica to take a ride in his car as he will drop her off to where she is staying, she agreed and rode with him.
"So Jessica, where do you live"
Derry asked
"I am from a small village that is on the northeast side of Freyton, not many people live there so the trains that go there are very limited"
Jessica said
"I see, so why are you in Freyton?"
Derry asked
"I came here to do research on ancient temples here in Freyton, I want to become an Archaeologist, I heard that the temple of Akiras is really mystical"
Jessica said
"It is indeed, I am never a religious person, but when I went in I felt very different"
Derry said.
"Same with me, I also felt very different in there, that is why I lost track of time and when I realized that I was about to miss my train I started to run, and from then you know what happened"
"Haha, that's funny"
Derry laughed as he saw how embarrassed Jessica is.
"Hey, that's not funny"
She said in an annoyed voice.
"Ok, I won't laugh"
Derry said and continued to drive, he soon dropped Jessica to her hotel.
"If you need anything call me, here's my number"
Derry gave his number to Jessica.
"Thank you so much for what you did today"
Jessica said and kissed his cheek as a thank you.
Derry's heart skips again, he says his farewell and drives off.

Chapitre 145: Investigate Jessica
Jason has no idea what happened with Derry today as he is too busy shouting at players in an online multiplayer the whole day.
Next day has arrived and Jason has stayed up all night playing this new multiplayer shooting game he has gotten addicted too.
Derry soon walked in while looking at his phone and a big smile plastered on his face.
Jason noticed Derry walk in and turned around to see the smile on his face, Jason raised his eyebrows as he knew what that smile meant on Derry's face.
Derry sat down on the chair and continued texting Jessica, he has been up all night texting with her.
"Hey dipshit, who are you texting with that creepy smile of yours"
Jason asked.
Derry got startled as he noticed Jason, he was too focused on his phone that he didn't even notice Jason was here.
"Brother? you were here all night?'
He asked.
"Yes, playing all night, and don't shift the question, who is she?"
Jason asked.
"I met this girl yesterday, her name is Jessica"
Derry answered.
"And how did you meet her?"
"She somehow ran into my car and I took her to the hospital"
Derry said as he rubbed the back of his head.
"So you are saying you fell in love with a girl who you just met yesterday who seems to have run into your car?"
"Wait no, I am not in love with anyone"
"Don't give me that Derry, I know what is going through your mind when I see your face"
Jason said and frowned.
"What do you know about this Jessica?"
He asked.
"She is from a village northeast side of Freyton, she came to Freyton to do some research on the ancient temples present here"
Derry answered.
"Do you trust this girl?"
Jason asked.
"Yes, I won't repeat my past mistakes, I know she is a good woman"
Derry said.
"Where does she live?"
"Blue Sea hotel, it's very close to my apartment"
Jason sighed and turned away and ignored Derry, Derry continued to text with Jessica with a smile on his lips.
Jason, on the other hand, is thinking about investigating this Jessica, he cannot trust Derry when it comes to finding love, once he fell in love with a girl and made her his girlfriend, after Jason got suspicious he did a quick research on her to find that she is two-timing Derry with another man.
Once Derry fell in love with another woman who seemed to have really gotten into his head, after Jason got suspicious about her, he did a quick investigation and found out that the woman was someone planted by a rival gang who got to know about Jason's relationship with Derry.
That day Jason went to the rival gang and completely wiped them off with few of his very trusted minions.
Jason always has to keep an eye on Derry's love life because he is a trouble magnet when it comes to that.
"I will be going I have other works to do"
Jason said and got off his chair, switched off the supercomputer and walked away.
Once he got out, he saw a few of his minions have arrived.
"Two of you come with me"
He said and walked out, two minions followed him outside.
"I want both of you to keep a close eye on Derry and the woman he is seeing named Jessica, one of you go to Blue Sea hotel and see if there is any Jessica staying there and keep an eye on her and investigate her background and the other stay close to Derry and keep him safe, and don't get noticed"
Jason said.
"Yes Boss"
The two minions agreed and one left towards the Blue Sea hotel to check on Jessica, and one stayed here to check on Derry.
Jason now had to wait and watch, he will see if this Jessica is another one of Derry's mistakes or did he find a good match if he can grab her, but Jason still favored the first one because he felt very weird that a woman came out of nowhere in front of his car and in no time they seem to be very close from seeing Derry's expression.
"Let's just hope this time he didn't mess up"
Jason said and sighed, he is also tired of cleaning up after Derry after his poor choice in women, well Freyton is not a place to find the idle women but sometimes someone finds someone special.
Jason was about to leave when his phone rang, he saw it was one of his minions.
"Yes, what is it?"
Jason asked
"Boss you told us to spy on Officer Clark's wife right, we think we found enough information for you"
The minion on the other side of the phone said happily.
"Oh, great, come to the hideout tonight, we will talk about it here"
"As you say, boss"
The call ended and Jason smiled.
"Things are going pretty well, now I have to lure in Clark's wife so I can use her"
Jason said and got into his car and drove off to his house.
