Jason heard this beautiful voice from the other end of the phone.
'Can voice also be this seductive?'

Anuka said.
"Hmm, the deal sounds good, but why would you pay for a thing that is yours, and why triple the amount? no matter how I look you cannot profit over it no matter what you do"
Jason said.
"Indeed, I won't be making a single penny out of it, what I am doing is staring a new relationship between you and me, the mana stones are just like a simple exchange with gifts"
"Oh, so what is this relationship between us about?"
"It can be anything, but when we need each other we will be useful to the other"
Anuka said.
"A very interesting deal, but you should know I don't trust anyone, even if it is a beautiful woman"
"I know, from the looks of it you don't trust anyone, you know sometimes earning someone's trust will be really helpful in future"

Jason said
"Hehe, I get it, ok I know what you want, you want the Mana stones to be delivered first, then you will send the Blue Silvers"
Anuka said
"You really are an intelligent woman, just the way I like it, let's look forward to our new relationship"
Jason said and laughed
"Likewise"
Anuka giggled and the call ended.
"Yo Derry you there?"
Jason asked but he got no answer.
What Jason doesn't know is that Derry is currently having a battle with Charles showing off their belongings.

Derry says as he shows off his watch.
"Impressive, but not that much, you see down there, they are special handcrafted shoes of Vanicity from Gaman, they used real crocodile skin for the leather, the soul is also handcrafted from the rarest silkworms found in this planet, the stitch done on it are special crisscrossed method that were used in ancient Gaman civilization"
Charles said as he showed off his shoes with a smirk on his face.
"Holy shit those are real Vanicity, aren't they like super expensive, how rich is your lady for you to afford such expensive shoes"
Derry exclaimed as he saw the shoes, he is a huge extremely expensive item collector but these shoes are even beyond his league.
"You old man, you are a lucky man to work under such a rich lady"
Derry said as he gave up on showing off his things as he had to face complete lose against this old smug man
"Lucky I am, indeed"
Charles said and laughed.

That is when Derry heard some lite buzz coming from his earbud, he bent down and saw it buzzing, he took one and put it in his ear.
"You piece of shit what are you doing there, you fucking asshole answer the fucking call you good for nothing donkey shit"
Derry got scared for a second when he heard Jason screaming a crushing at him.
"Yes I am here, don't worry nothing happened to me"
"You--- well anyways get out of there, tell the old man to talk with his Lady and we will talk further about it"
Jason said and hangs up the call.
Derry sighs and looks at Charles.
"Looks like the talking is over, you should talk to your Lady and ask her what to do next, I will be leaving, see you next time old man"
Derry said and made his way outside the temple, but before that, he took one look at the huge statue of the Goddess and sighed, after walking out of the temple he got into the car.
He started the engine and hit the accelerator, as the car moved in suddenly a woman came in front and got knocked down.
"Shit"
Derry said and got out of the car, he ran forward and saw the young woman in a pink dress on the ground, she had blue blonde hair and seems to be 19 or 20 years old.
Derry checked if she got injured or not, seeing no injuries on her he sighed.
"Looks like I have to take her to the hospital"
He said and picked the young lady up in his arms and put her in his car and drove off towards the nearest hospital.

Back at the hideout, Jason looks at his phone and the number that is displayed on it, it is the number of his new partner.
"I don't know who she is but she seems really interesting, one day I will meet you, hahahaha".
He puts away the phone and got back to play another round and started to curse on his opponents again.

Chapitre 144: Derry Falls In Love?
Derry soon reaches the nearest hospital and carries the fainted young lady with him and rush into the hospital, on his way he sees a nurse and stops her.
"She just came in front of my car and got knocked down, please take a look at her"
Derry said.
"Yes, please bring her to the table, we will look into it"
The Nurse instructed Derry to bring her to the A&E room, Derry places the woman on the bed and for the first time he finally gets a clear view of her face, the rest of the ride Derry was focused on getting her to the hospital and her hair were blocking off her face.
'Wow, she is beautiful'
He thought and looked at the young lady in front of him.
"Can you please fill up this form first"
The nurse gives him a form to fill up, Derry nods and fills it up quickly and gives it back to the nurse.
"Do you know who she is?"
The nurse asks.
"No I don't, she came in front of my car out of nowhere, luckily I had just started the car"
He said and sighed.
"Ok, did she have anything on her, like a purse, mobile phone or anything?"
"Yes, it's in my car, I will get it"
He said and walked back to his car and picked up the lady's purse and walked back in, on his way he checked in and found an ID which specified her name.
"So her name is Jessica, she is 20 year's old"
He said and walked in, he gave the purse to the nurse, the nurse searched through the purse and found the ID, she took down the information and gave the purse back to Derry.
"Why are you giving this to me?"
"When she wakes up you can give it back to her, the doctor will be coming in five minutes and will check on her"
The nurse said and walked away, Derry sighed and sat next to the young lady and looked at her.
Suddenly his phone rang and it is from Jason.
"Yes bother?"
He answered.
"Where are you?"
Jason asked.
"Something came up, I will talk to you later"
Derry said.
"Ok fine, go home and rest, don't go fucking around some cheap whores"
Jason said and hung up the call.
'Man how much longer do I have to stay here?'
Derry thought.
The doctor soon came in and did a quick check on her, seeing Derry next to her he handed out a slip with prescriptions on it.
"She is suffering from Mild Concussion, she will be back to conscious within two hours, give her the medicine as per the prescription and she will be fine, let her rest for a day or two"
After saying so the doctor stormed off before Derry could say anything.
'That fucking doctor, why is he in such a hurry, well it's not like his wife is getting fucked by someone for him to rush away like that'
He thought and sighed once again.
Now he has to wait until this young lady gets up, just like the doctor said the lady woke up after 2 hours.
She rubbed her eyes and looked around, she held her head as her head started to sting a little.
"You have finally woken up"
Derry said.
The lady looked at Derry in confusion.
"Do I know you?"
Jessica asked.
"Well know, but about 2 hours ago you came in front of my car out of nowhere and got hit'
Derry said.
"Oh"
She said and remembered what happened.
"I am so sorry, I was in a hurry, I was about to miss my train, but now it looks like I have already missed it"
Jessica said and sighed.
"Well at least nothing serious happened, you could have seriously gotten hurt"
Derry said and passed the prescription to Jessica.
"This is the prescription given by the doctor, it will help you bring down your concussion"
He then passed the prescription and her purse to her, she nodded and took them, she smiled at him and thanked him.
Seeing her smile Derry's heart skipped a beat.
'Man she is too beautiful, but I have to stay strong, I cannot melt here, I have to be like brother Jason if I want to secure this up'
Derry has seen his brother hitting many women and most of them are a success, he can also do it but his success rate is only 40%, seeing how beautiful this girl is in front of him, he has to try harder.
"Ok then Jessica I will be going"
Derry said and got up.
"Wait, how do you know my name?"
"Oh, I looked at your ID, hope you don't mind"
"No, thank you for helping me, by the way, what is your name?"
"My name is Derry"
"Nice to meet you Derry"
Jessica said and smiled.
"Should I stay or do you have someone in the city to pick you up?"
Derry asked.
"No, I don't have anyone in the city, I was about to leave the city but I missed my train, now the next train is in two days"
"Oh, I am sorry, is there any way I can help you?'
He asked.
"No, I have already caused so much trouble for you, I cannot bother you anymore"
"Don't worry, it's my day off, I can be of help, you just need to ask"
"Thankyou"
She said and blushed a little.
"Let's get you discharged, then think about what needs to be done next"
Soon Derry discharged Jessica from the hospital.
On their way out, Derry asked Jessica to take a ride in his car as he will drop her off to where she is staying, she agreed and rode with him.
"So Jessica, where do you live"
Derry asked
"I am from a small village that is on the northeast side of Freyton, not many people live there so the trains that go there are very limited"
Jessica said
"I see, so why are you in Freyton?"
Derry asked
"I came here to do research on ancient temples here in Freyton, I want to become an Archaeologist, I heard that the temple of Akiras is really mystical"
Jessica said
"It is indeed, I am never a religious person, but when I went in I felt very different"
Derry said.
"Same with me, I also felt very different in there, that is why I lost track of time and when I realized that I was about to miss my train I started to run, and from then you know what happened"
"Haha, that's funny"
Derry laughed as he saw how embarrassed Jessica is.
"Hey, that's not funny"
She said in an annoyed voice.
"Ok, I won't laugh"
Derry said and continued to drive, he soon dropped Jessica to her hotel.
"If you need anything call me, here's my number"
Derry gave his number to Jessica.
"Thank you so much for what you did today"
Jessica said and kissed his cheek as a thank you.
Derry's heart skips again, he says his farewell and drives off.
