Chapitre 90: Lunch Again

Jason is currently outside the palace and is waiting for Bran to arrive, he planned to use him to catch the two princesses by surprise.

Soon he saw Bran nervously approaching him, he has no idea what Jason is planning, he knows something bad might happened but Jason is scarier than that.

"You came right on time, come let's go in"

Jason said and put his hand across Bran's shoulder and dragged him into the palace, as he entered he felt someone is watching him, Jason smiled as he thought it might be one of the two sisters.

He is indeed right the two sisters are looking in a mirror which is projecting him walking towards the main chambers of the palace.

"Sister he doesn't seem to be affected at all"

Lisa said as she frowned.

"Are you sure you put the Esel in his food?"

Emily asked.

"I myself did it, there is no way an error would occur"

Lisa answered.

"That man with him, he has a Soul-Leech"

Emily said with a surprised expression on her face.

"Yes, he is definitely possessed by a Soul-Leech, do you think that Soul-Leech might have helped Jason to remove the Esel?"

Lisa asked.

"From what I can sense, that Soul-Leech is already 250 years old or has that much experience, so he is out of our control, it might be a possibility"

Emily answered.

"Then what do we do with that Soul-Leech?"

Lisa asked

"Hmph, even if he is of our species, trying to betray us is a deathwish but let's not jump into conclusion so soon we will find out about it eventually, he is coming to us after all"

Emily said and smiled.

Jason and Bran reached the main hall where the painting of Emperor Arther is present, seeing the painting Bran felt a chilling sensation down his spine and he shivered a little. Jason, of course, noticed this and he could tell that this painting of Emperor Arther is not simple, even this man Emperor Arther is not simple as well.

Jason became interested in this Emperor and his life

'I will have to look into it when I don't have other things to do'

Jason thought and looked at the painting.

"Jason you are here"

He then heard Emily's voice and turned around and smiled.

"Yes, I like the lunch very much that day so I decided to come again, this time I brought a friend"

Jason said and pulled in Bran.

Emily started at Bran, then smiled.

"Great come let's go since he is your friend he is also welcomed"

Emily said and walk towards the guest hall where the table is being set.

Jason followed behind with a smile on his face that never left.

Bran is the only one who is feeling nervous, he didn't know why Jason would bring him here, for now, reason, no matter how he thought he couldn't figure it out.

"You know I feel like dancing"

Jason said with a smile on his face, Emily, Lisa, and Bran were caught off-guard.

Emily smiled and giggled a little.

"Then why don't we do a little dance then, play some music"

Emily said and got up, Jason joined her and soon they started to dance along with the music, Lisa just looked at them and completely ignored Bran until she thought of something and looked at him.

Lisa suddenly sent a telepathic voice to Bran, Bran got startled and looked at Lisa.

[Yes, your majesty?]

[What is your relationship with Jason?]

[Just like he said we are just friends]

[Do you know what happens when you lie right?]

[Hm, if I know you are, I am going to feed you to the hungry newborn Soul-Leeches]

The conversation between Lisa and Bran is quite simple, Bran is sweating just sitting there, he just eats his food quietly and looks at Jason.

At one end are these two very powerful Soul-Leeches he cannot even compare to them, and on the other said is Jason, no matter how Bran looks at him only one word comes to his mind 'Monster' he doesn't know why but he is scared, every second he spends with Jason his heart beats faster and faster.

He just wants to live peacefully, he cursed the brat who wanted to feud with Jason, he promised himself that if he is able to survive he would personally wipe out that brats whole family,

Jason and Emily are going along with the music and dancing.

Emily looked at Jason and smiled but deep inside she is frowning.

"Have you been anxious recently?"

Emily asked the question out of the blue, Jason just looked at her and smiled.

"Why do you ask?"

"No its nothing"

Emily gritted her teeth in frustration while lowering her head, she couldn't read what Jason is thinking, making it very hard for her to figure out what to do next.

Soon the music ended and they stopped dancing and joined Lisa and Bran back to the dining table.

"Jason, you really are a good dancer"

"Haha, It just came naturally to me"

"Here have some drink"

Emily passed down a glass of wine to him, Jason looked at the wine, swirl it a little and drank it, he could tell that the same thing that was added to the previous food is added in this wine as well.

"Jason, you know we are friends now, if you are feeling anxious or depressed you can talk to us"

The amount that Emily gave this time to Jason is more than the previous time, she didn't expect Jason to not be affected by it so she has no choice to do so again.

Taking too much Esel can damage the brain of the host so many Soul-leeches don't use too much of it but seeing Jason has no effect Emily had no choice.

"You know, you are right, I was feeling depressed and lonely, sometimes even scared but luckily I had my friend Bran here, he helped me recover from that state and I am very grateful to him".

Chapitre 91: Exposed

Bran knew he is fucked when Jason said this.

He didn't expect Jason to put him in the chopping board as soon as his use was over, he had already joint all the missing dots to know what is happening right now.

Jason's yesterday's question about feeding something weird to the victim of a Soul-leech, the elder princess's continuous asking Jason about his mental state and anxiousness.

He could tell that the princesses had fed Jason Esel but it doesn't seem to affect him, now that he isn't affected, that means someone helped him remove the Esel from his body.

Jason stating that Bran helped him, clearly means Bran is going against the princesses, this clearly meant death to him.

Just like how Bran had connected the dots, Jason also did the same, he could tell that Emily fed him Esel as she asked about him being scared, feeling anxious and other things, as Bran has said only Esel has this kind of effect so Jason already came up with this.

Bran is no use to him now, he had already told him what he needs to know so sacrificing him to let the princesses reveal their real identity to him is a no brainer for him.

Bran started to panic, he doesn't want to die, he just needs another fifty years and he can have his freedom, now its time for him to make a choice, whether to side with the sisters or side with Jason.

Jason, of course, knew he has to take this decision.

If Bran is favored by god-like luck he would choose Jason but if he goes with his mind he will choose the sisters as he knows their power and they are monsters, as for what Jason is he has no idea and he cannot take such huge risk with his life.

"Your majesty, he is lying I would never go against you, I didn't remove the Esel from his body, I would not dare to target your prey"

And like this Jason succeeded in achieving what he wanted, he noted that Bran is obsessed with not dying so putting him under such huge stress would surely make him lose his mind and start to burst out things he should not even speak.

"Emily, what is he talking about? What prey? what Esel, is there something I don't know"

Jason went on with his act and continued to play dumb.

"You, you son of a bitch why are you acting like an innocent who knows nothing, you are the reason all this is happening, I will kill you, I wi- agggrrrrr"

Before he could talk further a hand came out from his chest with his heart in it.

It was Lisa.

The Soul-Leech that was in Bran's body came out screaming and shattered into tiny fragments and disappeared.

Jason was smiling inside but outside he showed fear on his face.

"Lisa, pin him down we will do it the hard way"

Emily said as she put on her real face, a sadistic ugly smile.

"Wh-- what ar- are you?"

Jason asked as he is in full on acting mode, if Derry was here he would be very proud of Jason for his acting skills.

Lisa laughed and charged towards Jason.

This is what Jason was waiting for all along.

As Lisa got very close to him, his facial expression changed, the fear turned into a smile that displayed full-on mockery.

His chilling aura released causing the whole surrounding to cold in a fraction of seconds.

Emily felt it.

"LISA BE CAREFUL HE IS DANGEROUS"

She screamed but it was too late, Lisa also noticed the change in the atmosphere but she couldn't stop herself right away.

Everything played in slow motion for her, how Jason's face turned from fear to a smile, he then lifted his right hand and came in straight with a punch directly to her head.

Even though Lisa could see the fist coming towards her she couldn't do anything about it.

Then it happened. The Punch.

His fist shattered her skull and Lisa's headless corpse fell straight down on the ground.

Blood splattered everywhere, on the table, on the food, on Emily's face, but not a single drop on Jason as he had already covered himself with his aura.

"Hahahaha, you dumb bitches"

Jason commented and laughed at Emily who is shocked to her core, she couldn't believe that Lisa's head could be shattered like that.

She is not worried about Lisa's life because Lisa is still not dead. She is now worried about Jason, what on earth is he, that is the question she has right now.

Lisa's corpse which is on the ground slowly started to twitch, a light started to come out of her body and form into a shape of a head, soon bones and muscles started to grow back and after a minute Lisa was back to normal but something is different about her.

She has become weak now, she used all the stored up power in her body that she has collected for 900 years to restore this body of her.

She quickly backed away from Jason in horror.

"Oh, why are you scared?"

Jason asked as he put up a smile in front of the two sisters.
