Chapitre 26: Miss Hunter
Jason didn't speed up or slow down so that he won't make the other party suspicious, he finally arrived outside his run-down apartment, everything was as usual as it was always, the Old lady was closing her stall as it was already late night.
The old lady looked at Jason and went back to her work, Jason was keeping an eye on the person who was following him.
Jason went into the apartment, soon the person on the bike stopped by and took off her helmet, it is the same woman who killed the Wendigo.
The Old lady who was about to go back to her home, she looked at this woman and she was startled.
'What is a hunter doing here? From what I see her bloodline is intermediate level, why would she be here?'
The Old lady looked towards Jason's apartment where the woman was looking at as well.
'Is she after that kid? But why? It's none of my concern I am too old to worry about anything'
She left with her stall and disappeared into the darkness of the night'
The hunter woman looked at the rundown apartment then the surroundings, she didn't notice anything unusual and took out her phone.
"Chief, yes I followed him, looks like he doesn't have anyone who lives with him"
"....."
"I checked the surroundings, there are only a few houses around here, I saw an old lady but she didn't seem any special at all"
"....."
"Ok, I will see what I can do, I will try to bring him back and if he doesn't agree I will eliminate him"
"....."
"Roger"
She puts her phone down and looks at Jason's apartment again.
'Let him be for a few days, I will visit him after I take care of some other stuff'
Thinking so the Hunter Woman got on her bike and rode off, as she left Jason was laying on his bed with a smirk on his face, he heard everything the woman said, he couldn't hear the other person behind that call as it was some high tech device and it seemed it fired soundwaves straight to the receiver's ear canal.
"Well who would have thought that things would come looking for me instead of me going and searching for them, Miss Hunter, let's see what will she do when she comes by, hahaha"
Jason laughed and closed his eyes and went to sleep.

Next morning he woke up quite early (9 PM yes that's very early for him), he got dressed and walked out of his apartment, he did his usual, got some meat skewers from the Old Lady and drove to one of the hideouts where he asked his minions to hide the blue silver.
He reached an abandoned warehouse at the border of the district, this is one of his hideouts which isn't used much due to it being very far from the main hub of the district.
He saw some crows eating on a dead rat, he ignored it and walked towards the gate and unlocked it and walked in the warehouse, the warehouse was spacious and there were many empty containers inside and all of them were covered with huge sheets.
Julian chose this place specifically because this warehouse has hundred of empty containers and hid the containers with blue silver within them, he walked pass one container after another until he reached the middle of the warehouse, he walked towards the third row and moved the sheet aside to see the container which has a ripped outer layer, this is the same one which he ripped on that ship, he removed the outer layer and took out a brick of Blue Silver from it hand ripped a chunk from it and placed it back into the container, he put the chunk of Blue Silver in his pocket and walked out of the warehouse and locked it.
He got back to his car and rode away.
As he was back in his district he was planning how to forward the other part of his plan, he rode around the whole city and looked at some potential both legal and illegal auction houses in the city.
Both Auction houses had their own benefit, in legal auction houses every product they sold are verified and authentic but the fees are too high, while the illegal auction house also sold some good products and they take fewer auction fees, they don't give any guarantee to the product they sold, it depended on the person's luck whether he ended up with an authentic item or a fake one.
Jason planned on putting this chunk of Blue Silver in the auction house to reel in big fishes.
Of course, he had made plans with Derry to lure in some supernatural creatures from the supernatural world but he knew they won't be a high-rank character but he would still capture them.
He wanted to use this Blue Silver to lure in the high-ranking beings, the ones who are trying to search for the tons of stolen Blue Silver, Jason doesn't know exactly how much they cost but he knew they cost a fortune and a chunk of Blue Silver in a human market would surely lure in many creatures of Dark and Supernatural.
But he still doesn't know how to put this item in an auction, he wanted this to be showcased in a legal auction house as they would advertise their main attractions, Illegal auction house was a risk he could not afford to take.
'Let's not think about it much right now, I will look into it later'
After coming into a conclusion he returned back to his apartment and spent his day watching horror movies on his TV as he was now somehow got addicted to them.

Chapitre 27: Manipulate (1)
Four days have gone by since the incident in Derry's apartment, Jason has no news about Miss Hunter but he is not bothered by it, he knows she will come when she is done with her stuff.
Jason didn't have much to do during these days, instead of roaming around in the city or spending time at the Rose Bar.
Today was the same, he is in the Rose bar drinking with Vanessa by his side, Jason is in no mood today to do anything but drink and smoke as he was busy planning how to get the chunk of Blue silver into a legal auction house without revealing his identity as they ask for the sellers Identity before they auction anything.
As he drank his beer he noticed a woman entering the bar, she is wearing a black leather jacket with tight leather pants, Jason recognized her, she is our Miss Hunter who has come to take away Jason.
She looked around the bar and finally noticed Jason sitting with Vanessa, she approached Jason and walked in front of him.
"Can I borrow him for a moment?"
She looked at Vanessa and asked, Vanessa, didn't know who this woman is, she looked at Jason to ask what to do, he nodded at her.
Seeing Jason nod, Vanessa got up and left, she turned and looked at the woman and went back to the VIP chambers.
"Come with me"
The woman said looking at Jason.
"Why should I?"
"It is for your own good"
"And if I refuse?"
"I will drag you out"
"Are you sure, have you seen around the bar properly?"
Hearing Jason, Miss Hunter frowned and looked around the bar carefully, she saw some men and women carrying guns and the main bouncers who are at the back also have big guns with them.
Miss Hunter was surprised seeing this, she didn't expect this bar to have this kind of security, from outside it looked like a normal bar but inside is a very different case.
"I advice you to sit down and have a drink, causing trouble here will either get you killed or raped, they don't care if you are a woman or not"
Miss Hunter frowned even if she is stronger than normal humans she cannot dodge bullets and to take on so many of them single-handed is stupid.
So she listens to Jason and sits down on the chair.
"Get this miss anything she wants, it's on me"
The bartender looks at Miss Huntress and asks her what she wants.
"Get me a wine"
She waits for it to get prepared and looks at Jason.
"I believe we haven't introduced ourselves properly"
Miss Hunter said as Jason didn't want to start the conversation and she was getting frustrated by it.
"We indeed haven't"
"Well then, My name is Ana and you already know my profession"
"My name is Jason Born, I am a local gangster"
"Born? That's a weird last name"
"It is, I gave it to myself"
"Why, may I ask"
"I felt reborn when I was a child, that's why"
Ana's wine was ready and she took it from the bartender and gave it a swirl and took a sip.
"Why are you here? I said that day I don't want anything related to you people"
"Well, Mr. Jason sometimes you won't get what you always ask, the world is not so simple as you think"
"Hahaha, so you are going to teach me how the world works?"
"Indeed, if you decided to join us"
"Listen, woman, I don't care what you people do and I don't give a fuck about what you people think, just don't interfere with my life"
Jason said as he finished his beer and ordered another one.
"You know you will regret this"
"I don't care"
"You will die"
"Then come at me"
"We can give you power"
Jason paused for a second and looked at her.
"And how will you do that?"
"Hehe, looks like you are same as others, a person who is in search for power"
Ana said with a smirk and sipped on the wine.
"Ha, its human nature to search for power, why do you think humans now are so blinded to make more money because it gives them power over the ones who have less money than them, humans never wanted wealth, they wanted power, the power to have control over their own lives and others as well, everything a human wants to do is for power, he may not realize it but he is still doing it subconsciously"
Jason said as he drank more beer.
Ana stayed silent as she took in what Jason just said, she knew he was right because she was also doing what she does because she felt powerful.
"Well then it will be in your best interest to join our organization, money, women, strength that surpass humans, you can get everything"
Ana said looking at Jason.
"You really are delusional aren't you?"
Jason said with a smirk on his face, by now he already has a grasp of what kind of woman our Miss Hunter is.
"What are you talking about?"
"Do you really think you are powerful?"
"Huh?"
"Tell me, do you think you are powerful?"
"Of course I am, I am way powerful than a normal human"
"You really are delusional"
Jason laughed after hearing Ana.
"Why you?"
Ana is angry as she thinks Jason is making fun of her.
"Tell me, Ana are you powerful enough to survive on your own in the world that you live in?"
Ana paused for a second and looked at him, she had no answer to his question but deep down she knew she has no chance in surviving alone in the world of supernatural and Jason knew it as well.
"I don't know!" she said.
"Of course you know, you know no matter what you do you won't be as powerful as the one ordering you or the one who is above you, this is just a false hope you created for yourself that you are powerful than a normal human but in reality, you are not part of the human world, you are part of that cruel world where you lie at the bottom of the food chain may be a little higher, I don't know about that, someday you might get eaten and no one will care, they will even forget who you were, how you look and everything related to you.
Maybe there might be some people who will remember you but they will talk about you for a few months and then move on with their own life"
Ana was stunned as she realized this, deep down she knew about it all along, she is a high-rank hunter in the organization and she enjoyed to flaunt her power in front of her juniors but she is not powerful, not powerful enough to ignore her superior's order, she is bound by a tyrant named as the Hunter Organization which always keeps a track on her.
"Truth is harsh, but that is who you are, your power is useless in the human world and in that world as well"
Jason said as the smirk on his face grew wider.
"Look at me, I am at the top of this human world, I am not bound by anyone, I am free to do whatever I want. What is the use of having power if you are bounded by someone, it all comes down to just a single person and that person is the one who is sitting on the top, just like me"
Jason finished his beer and kept the glass on the table and walked away.
Leaving Ana stunned on the chair as she thought about what Jason said.
