It was something vague at first. She squashed the possibility of falling in love. A person like her cannot be in love. She should continue living an isolated lifestyle. There is a reason why her mother kept her trapped like a caged bird. A reason why 

Lyn wrapped the blanket around her and got up quietly. She briefly glanced back at Rhys, fast asleep on the bed before leaving the room. 'It's hard to sleep these days.' Is it because she overheard that conversation between her parents? She already understood that a lot was happening in the background without anybody informing her. 

It did not take long before she arrived at the courtyard. A strong gust of wind blew, and she shivered. The weather is getting colder these days. 

From now on, even more, dangerous things will happen. Can she safely say she has the strength to protect everybody?
