Chapitre 9: First Death Flag
Charlie quickly turns around and saw the Assassin running towards Celestia with a dagger in his hand. At that moment Charlie's brain stopped working, and his feet stood in place, as cold sweat ran down his back. Charlie raised his voice as he watches the Assassin running.
" Tia, watch out!"
Celestia heard one of her brothers call out her name as she came closer to the carriage.
She turns her head slightly and all she saw was a man dress in black from head to toe raise a dagger in his hands and aims towards her. Celestia quickly threw a bottle of potion in her hands at the man however she was slightly slower and the dagger cut her right arm, blood started flowing down her arm.
At that moment there was a gust of wind heading towards Celestia and the man. Celestia fell to her knees due to shock. Charlie rushes to Celestia as he summons his magic and kills the man, however before he could reach Celestia, someone else got to her first. It was Cepheus, holding the pale Celestia in his arms.
"You! Give her to me." Charlie said as he rushes to Celestia.
Cepheus ignores Charlie and carries Celestia into the carriage and close the door using his wind magic.
Charlie enters the carriage and sees Celestia lying on the seat, while the Duchess summons her familiar to help stop the bleeding.
"She will be fine the cut isn't deep, so it won't leave a scar." Duchess Whisterial said as she finishes using her healing powers.
The carriage door opens and the Marquess ran in finding Celestia sleeping with a pale face. During the fight, he saw his daughter getting attack however he couldn't reach her in time.
"How is she?" Marquess Septihanus asks with a slightly shaky voice.
Duchess Whisterial lightly smile.
"She's fine now, I stop her bleeding and use some special herbs from my familiar as bandages to heal her arm faster. Celestia is asleep now, she'll wake up in a couple of hours."
Duchess Whisterial reassures the Marquess. Marquess Septihanus sigh as he carries Celestia in his arms.
"Thank you." Marquess Septihanus said.
Duchess shook her head.
"I should be thanking you if it weren't for your presence, Cep and I would've been dead." Duchess Whisterial said.
Marquess Septihanus nods his head lightly and exits as the Duke rushes and hugs his wife and son.
"Are you guys ok, I'm sorry I should've placed more guards around you when you were travelling." Duke Whisterial said.
"It's ok darling, we're fine." Duchess Whisterial said as she pats her husband's cheek.
Charlie watches the scene and then looks at Celestia in his father's arms.
"Father I'm sorry if I was stronger Celestia wouldn't have gotten hurt" Charlie said feeling guilty.
Marquess Septihanus sigh and pat his head.
"It's not your fault, thanks to your warning Celestia manage to doge it a little."
Cepheus looks at the guilty Charlie and sighs.
"I'm sorry for the trouble, and will take responsibility for Celestia." Cepheus said as he bows towards the Septihanus family.
Charlie's lips twitch.
"It's ok, we don't need it. Celestia is my sister I'll take care of her it was my fault, for not protecting her." Charlie said.
However, Cepheus ignores Charlie and responded back.
"Star, is my fiancè so it's my responsibility to look after her in the future."
However Charlie couldn't accept it so he bickered back, the adults knew this won't stop so they summon a portal and took their children back to their own home. This concludes Celestia's first encounter of her first death flag as a success.
It's been a month since the assassin incident with the Duchess and Cepheus. When Marchioness saw her husband coming home with her children and Celestia sleeping with a high fever in his arms, she almost fainted. After hearing from her children and husband what happened she almost forbid her children from stepping outside of the castle, worried that one of her children may be next.
Since then Marchioness has been staying close to Celestia, in case her fever may relapse again, as they found poison in her blood. Although Duchess Whisterial's Familiar did help stop the bleeding, the spiritual beast couldn't detect the poison.
Celestia wasn't worried as her body was used to poison since she has been digesting poison so her body is used to it. Cepheus has been visiting more often since that incident and Xavier comes along with him too.
Celestia is currently in her garden picking up some flowers to make tea.
"Miss, Young Master Cepheus and Young Master Xavier are here."
Celestia nods her head as a response.
"Star what are you doing?" Cepheus asks as enters the garden.
Celestia turns around as the wind slowly brush her silver hair.
"Hey Sky, hey Xie" Celestia said with a smile.
"I'm planning to make a new tea flavour, want to try some?" Celestia said as she walks back to her greenhouse.
"Sure, what flavour are we having today?" Xavier said as he runs past Cepheus.
"What's this flower?" Xavier asked looking at a blue flower in her flower basket.
Celestia laughs and hands Xavier the crystal blue flower.
"This is a rare flower it's called Saxe Mist, it's a winter flower, that only appears for 15 days in winter and withers, but I put a spell on it and now I can grow it all year round" Celestia explains.
Xavier eyes sparkles.
"are we having Saxe Mist tea?"
Celestia giggled and shook her head.
"No that's a new poison flower, it will give you three days of hallucination if you have it as tea," Celestia said.
Xavier got scared and pass her back the flower as Celestia and Cepheus laugh.
"Then what flavour are we having?" he ask, Celestia took out another flower from her little basket.
"This one, the flower is from the North it's called Malberry Ink, papa said the people from the North use this flower as a tonic for the sick, so I decided maybe I can turn it into a new tea flavour"
Celestia explain as she passes the flower towards Xavier. The flower has seven sharp petals in a plum colour with a shade of yellow in the centre. Cepheus step closer taking a sniff of the flower.
"It smells sweet and similar to a plum," Cepheus said
Cepheus looks gently at Celestia, who knew that Celestia remembers Xavier's favourite fruit. Xavier took a sniff and his eyes light up.
"It does too, let's go, I love plums!" Xavier says as he rushes into the greenhouse.
After the tea, Xavier went to find the twins to play leaving behind Celestia and Cepheus in the greenhouse. Celestia as usual observes her plants and takes notes of the growth of each plants, while Cepheus follows behind and will ask questions if he notices new plants or herbs in her greenhouse.
"Star how's your arm?" Cepheus ask
Celestia laugh and turns towards him, as she lifts her sleeve to him and shows him her fair porcelain arm.
"You always ask the same questions ever since that incident, after applying a few times of that cream you got from Nirvyn the scar disappeared. I'm good as new now." Celestia said as she puts her sleeve down, and went back to observe her plants.
Ever since that incident, Cepheus has started to improve on his magic and trained harder. The Duke and Marquess investigated the incident however always ends up with no results, leaving the incident with no answers. Celestia wasn't surprised since in the game it was only a brief explanation of the incident and no one knows why they got attacked, it was an unexplained incident leaving everyone who has played the game curious.
This didn't concern Celestia as she avoided her death flag and changed her fate.
"Excuse me, Young Miss, you have a letter" Lucy came in the greenhouse and handed her a letter.
Celestia looks a little confused thanking Lucy and took the letter. Cepheus follows Celestia and sat next to her on the couch in the garden. He looks at the crest on the letter and knew where that household is from and sigh a little.
Celestia didn't notice that at all as she stares at the letter.
Celestia recognises this symbol too well it was the main villainess household, the Duke's eldest daughter Anastasia Monet Gypkinz (jeep-kins).
"Star, aren't you going to open the letter?" Cepheus ask curiously
Celestia looks up at Cepheus blinking her eyes.
"Oh yeah, I was just surprised that I got an invitation from the young miss from Gypkinz's house. Let's see what it is." Celestia said.
However, she already knew what's written inside, as this will be the first encounter meeting the main villainess.
Cepheus looks at her confusingly, not sure how she already knew it was an invitation and not a normal letter. Taking the letter out of the envelope Cepheus was surprised that it was an invitation. However, he didn't ask Celestia.
Cepheus read it with her, it was a girl only tea party with the daughters in every household to start their social circle. Cepheus notice that Celestia didn't seem like she was looking forward to attending the tea party, however, it would be considered rude to reject the lady of a Ducal household's invitation. So Cepheus thought of something that may change her mind.
"I heard that the daughter of the Gypkinz's household loves tea parties, and it's very rare that she will send out invitations however it is said that you're lucky if you get an invite. Star this is good news if you attend her tea party you can promote your new products to the young misses." Cepheus said.
Sky is correct instead of thinking about my death flag I should focus on my business, and sell the new product that I just finish. Ok, Celestia let's go and sell our new products!
"Thank you Sky, I feel better now, I'll definitely promote my new products!" Celestia said as she smiles brightly.
Cepheus felt a warm feeling in his chest just by seeing her smile. He looks away from her.
"You're welcome."
Not noticing his ears turning a bright crimson colour.
It was the day of the tea party and Celestia knew that she cannot avoid Anastasia.
"Madam and Young Miss we have arrived." the coachman announce as soon as the Pegasus's landed in front of the Duke's Gypkinz's Mansion.
The mansion was huge and beautiful, it has beautiful flowers growing everywhere surrounding the mansion, in the center was the huge white jade fountain and the grand stairways in front to the entrance of the mansion.
In front stood a beautiful woman dress in a beautiful gown appropriate for the tea party, she has hazelnut colour hair pulled up in a messy neat bun with a hair clip holding it together, sky blue eyes, long lashes, porcelain skin, pink plump lips, she has captivating features that Celestia will never forget. Next to her stood a little girl the same age as Celestia. The little girl has auburn hair, light blue eyes, long lashes and porcelain skin, she was beautiful as a doll. They were Duchess Gypkinz and the Villainess Anastasia.
"Mama, she's so beautiful," Celestia said to her mother.
Marchioness Spetihanus giggle, as she saw her daughter getting captivated by Duchess Gypkinz's beauty.
"You're right she is one of the kingdom's beautiful women." Marchioness Septihanus said.
Celestia nod her head, she is right in the game they only reveal a little of her from Anastasia's memories but she is a beautiful woman. It is said she died due to a terrible pandemic during winter which happens when they are 12.
"But Mama, you're the most beautiful to Tia"
Marchioness Septihanus laughs a little.
"Look at you and your sweet words." Marchioness Septihanus says as she steps out of the carriage.
Celestia and Marchioness Septihanus walks up to Duchess Gypkinz and Anastasia to greet them.
"Duchess Gypkinz, thank you for inviting my daughter and I to your tea party." Marchioness Septihanus said.
Celestia follows and copy her mother.
"Oh my, Marchioness Septihanus stop being so polite, we have known each other for a long time, by the way, is this your mysterious daughter she's so lovely." Duchess Gypkinz said as she looks towards Celestia.
"Greetings Duchess Gypkinz and Miss Anastasia, thank you for inviting me to your tea party," Celestia said towards Duchess Gypkinz and Anastasia.
"She's so adorable, come I'll take you to the garden where we're having our afternoon tea." Duchess Gypkinz said.
The Duchess and Anastasia then lead her to where all the other guest were seated in the garden, Marchioness Septihanus and Duchess Gypkin started to talk about the latest affairs in the noble society. There were two separate tables one for the noble madams and one for the noble young misses. Celestia separates herself from Marchioness Septihanus at the end of the pathway at the centre of the beautiful garden.
The walk got interrupted when Anastasia spoke up.
"Lady Celestia, your dress is so lovely, who design the dress?" Anastasia said as her eyes sparkle brightly.
Celestia didn't know how to respond, as this young Anastasia was completely different from the one she remembers from the game. In the game, Anastasia was very bossy and she will never compliment anyone's dress nor ask where it was from, in the game she has a very prideful personality.
However, Celestia remembers that this young Anastasia hasn't been corrupted yet, so what she will do is be friends with her and raise her to be nice. But first, she will focus on promoting her products.
"Oh I design my dress but I ask my seamstress to tailor it for me, however, you can get similar dresses from our family shop Luce," Celestia said as they got closer to the table where all the guests were seated.
"Oh yes, I'll definitely go and check the store out" Anastasia says with excitement in her eyes.
The young girls headed to their table and sat down, there are three other cute young noble daughters at the same table as Celestia's, one with golden locks and forest green eyes that glisten in the sunlight, one with ash grey hair that falls to her mid-back with brown eyes and the last girl has lime green hair up to her shoulder with orange bright eyes. they were all beautiful young girls.
"Ladies this is Celestia Septihanus from the Marquess family, Miss Celestia this is Layla Vinsken second daughter from the Viscount family, Casandra Ramanoria eldest daughter from the Count family and this is Stephanie Franspia only daughter from the Earl family," Anastasia said as she introduces all the noble daughters who were sitting on her table.
Celestia recognise these girls they are all the villainess in all the capture targets routes, Layla Vinsken the second daughter of the viscount family. She is the fiancee of the eldest son of the Count family. Casandra Ramanoria has an older brother who is one of the capture targets. Then we have the only daughter of the Earl family and she happens to be Elliot's fiancee, who is my future sister in law.
Celestia awkwardly greeted them with a noble smile, as cold sweat runs down her spine. Every member sitting at her table were all the villainess, drinking tea.

kixi So what do you think, of this chapter I understand it feels rush but I really want to get to meeting the heroine, since that's when the fun starts.
