I say hi
To you.
Or better yet to the hopes,
of spending simple time together.
They're pictures in my mind,
taking them one at a time,
they're all I need.
Because apparently,
it never really happens anyways.
Foggy smoke asphyxiating,
besmirching the color I ever saw,
in them -
green.
Once my world.
An orb held two.
Embedded with a blue,
I once assumed in you;
oceans were once treacherous -
adventurous maybe.
Even perilous.
For my eyes though as they dripped -
something all too familiar.
They don't come.
Maybe?
long story short, becoming too familiar with something isn't nice sometimes; her maybe's became one in too many.
