Half an hour later, the nurses wheeled Long Lin out in a bed. The child's head was swathed with bandages. His tiny figure lay in the large bed. It was a particularly heart-wrenching sight. 

"How's Lin'er?" Long Sijue looked at the doctor with a grim expression. 

"He hurt his forehead. Other than that, there's no other external injury. We still have to keep observing his situation. Once he wakes up, we'll do some tests to determine if he has a concussion. From what I see, he looks alright for now," the doctor answered. 

Long Xiluo looked down at her son. His eyes were shut tight. She held his small hand in hers and felt a suffocating pain in her chest. She finally realized how important this child was to her! 

The nurses took Lin'er to his ward. Long Xiluo glanced at Long Sijue and followed the child. 

There was still no news about Elder Long. The rest of the family kept waiting outside the emergency room.
