Hi, I'm Sparka. I edit this story written by Elsbro. After uploading a few chapters here in WebNovel, my friend wasn't happy with the story line and thought to take a moment and build a stronger foundation and so it meant stalling the future updates until he had rewritten the chapters he had already uploaded for this story, In the Shadow of a Storm.
I thought I should let you all know about this major change of pace that the writer (who is also a digital artist and creating new artworks for this story) decided to have and the reason behind such a long pause on the updates.

A lot of things have stayed the same while a lot of changed. I know it's an annoying setback as a collector (if you have started to like a story) to see the books you're following undergo a alteration and be re-written... It basically becomes a different book, which you might not like after the re-editing.
But you can try it if you care even a little about our story. That's all we can ask right now.
Honestly, it was a tough decision because we have had a subsequent number of collectors even when we had stopped updating chapters four months ago. And we know we let them down. But, because our aim is to create a huge fantasical Universe starting with The Blue Pearl, we knew we had to build a stronger foundation. Being satisfied with the first volume was really important to the creator of this story.
We're sorry. But, if you decide to stick around, we promise we'll create a beautiful web serial that you'll end up enjoying.
