Air, soil, water, now not so clean, even compared with the 1950s. Yes, and our human organisms are not so strong in terms of immunity. We have antibiotics everywhere ... viruses mutate ... a weak person ...
The climate is changing ... it becomes a template or colder ... the number of free days is changing, less water ... it means less food ...
GMO will help us ... feed ... but what? How will it affect our survival rate?
More insects will appear, some animals will die, new species will appear, more adapted for survival in the changed conditions ...
Already, medicines and clean water, food, is expensive. And during a crisis, it rises to the skies.
This is the usual horror, household fear. But of course in novels catastrophes it is not customary to write about this. The usual fear, it is not as colorful as the flooding of entire continents.
If a man-made disaster is added to a natural disaster, then this is already a full bowl.
For example, a nuclear power plant flashes ... a nuclear region will be blown apart by a wind ... or two countries will start to face off ... one will launch a nuclear strike on the other.
Revenge came true! Some will die and others will die! But all right, they themselves are to blame for this, one country attacked, the other answered. And what are their neighbors to blame? What time did not have time to reconcile them?
Anyway, the radioactive cloud will come to the neighbors ... and the ass will come too.
Especially if the region is so suffering from a lack of iodine in writing and water ...
