Chamberlain remained silent for a few seconds before speaking, "I'd ask you to trust me, but I'd rather you make the decision yourself."

"You do know you're asking me to trust you blindly, right? The Chamberlain a few months ago would ask me not to trust a soul, what changed?

"Then what's your decision?"

"You haven't even answered my questions." Carl rolled his eyes.

Of course Chamberlain knew if he answered truthfully, Carl would be unwilling to trust him.
