Chapitre 16: THE DAY OF LOVE
Jack is standing in front of his experiments. He feels a little bit nervous. This is his first time to become the father of a daughter. His feeling is mixed. There are many unnecessary thoughts passing by his mind.
Around him, there is a lot of preparation to welcome her awakened.
The capsule's set now is not laid in the floor position anymore. The hydraulic mechanism controlled by the lab's computer has adjusted its position into standing one. That means, when she awoke, its gates will automatically open and Jack will be easily helping her out from the capsule.
What happened just now give Jack a very deep impression that he just done creating another version of Kristanna Loken's T-X mixed or Rosa Salazar's Alita or maybe Milla Jovovich's Alice of Resident Evil? Who knows. Only time will tell.
Jack chuckled while blowing his smoke of clove cigarette.
Jack feels an urge to show her those great movies. It will be great, he thought. He cannot wait to hear her comments or see her amaze face. I will take a lot of photos of her at that moment, Jack swears inwardly.
Jack does not really care about how the result of his previous hypotheses. But one thing he understands for sure, that evolution theory and natural selection would not work as smooth as people thought. Ironically, the chance he had to test those theories was the time he is no longer a citizen of the earth, the place where those theories came from.
There is one thing that Jack's curious, how Average Percent DNA will she had?
Unconsciously Jack opens his laptop to remotely connected to the lab's experiment computer control. The auto-generated answer is actually out of his prediction. The answer was Diaz 45%; Jack 25%; Meyrlion 25%; Unknown 5%
Woah, Jack amazes. 25% to 25%? I don't know how her appearance will be. Meyrlion has white hair although he was turning back into his youth age. While Jack has black messy hair and Diaz had wavy black hair. Meyrlion's iris eyes are blue, while Jack's dark black and Diaz's brown. Merlion's skin is pale tan, while Jack's white-yellow and Diaz's exotic tan.
The seven-segment display placed on the top side of the capsule now is showing the countdown of opening the capsule doors.
25 ... Jack decided to put his laptop down and get ready in front of the door. There was a bottle of fresh milk in his lab pocket and a towel ready for her.
20 ... Meyrlion starting to sense something different.
15 ... Jack's heart becomes turmoil.
10 ... Meyrlion acute sense has done a good job in understanding the current situation. He decides to put a hold the interrogation and leave to the lab room.
5 ... Meyrlion has stand side by side with Jack in front of the capsule
0 ... The water level inside the capsule was decreased rapidly. The door opens slowly with some hiss voice came from the released air pressure from inside the capsule. A thick mist comes out from the capsule, blocking the view of Jack and Meyrlion.
Ten seconds later appears a view of a young girl's body around the age of fifteen years old. She is standing up inside the capsule.
"Welcome to the world, dear," Meyrlion says. He smiles warmly.
Her eyes were still closed, and her naked body almost fell forward.
"A daughter is one of the most beautiful gifts this world has to give. I believe in love at first sight…because now I'm your dad...Come, open your beautiful eyes, see this world for yourself, we'll be here for you..." Jack whispers softly.
A tear appears in her eyes and slowly slipped down past her cheeks. Followed by the seconds, and the third. Then it'll become a small drizzle that flooded her cheeks and eyelids.
Her cries broke the silence. She cries like a small child reunited with his mother. She cries to release everything which suffocated her mind and soul. Those are tears of happiness and longing. The feeling of being loved that she always wants to hug.
Finally, she opens her eyes.
"Fathers...." she's crying out loud.
Meyrlion caught her swiftly and Jack immediately wraps her up with a towel. They both carry her into the bathtub which is already filled with warm water then clean up her body. There is a lot of dead skin which is felt from her body. They are also shampooing her hair, soaping up her body then put new clean clothes on her.
"How many angels do exist? It does not really matter, one that changes my lives is totally enough. It is you, child..." Meyrlion says.
Then they lay her body into the bed located in the same room.
Jack combed her black dark hair.
Apparently, she inherited the straight and limp hair from Meyrlion, with a hair color that seemed to be a combination of Jack and Diaz's hair, dark black. Her iris eyes are blue sea, seems to be inherited the gene from Meyrlion entirely.
So do with the shape of her eyebrows, her sharp nose, and her limp face. The lines of his face and lips are still left genes from Diaz, with dimples that occasionally appear when she blushes and smiles. it doesn't take a genius to find her resemblance with Princess Diaz.
While the skin of her body is inherited from Jack, it tends to be white-yellow.
While the aura and vibration of the magic energy emitted are entirely similar to Meyrlion. Hopefully, she also does not inherit the overacting Meyrlion's talent.
A few minutes later, they are taking a seat near her, ready to greet her a warm welcome.
"A child is like the beginning of all things-wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities. I gave you name Tyas, an ancient word for the soul part of the heart and the source of love. Since I believe that a name is parent's pray, I wish that your life will full of love and happiness, ever after..."
She nods while wiping tears that flooded uncontrollably.
"Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body. You are our heart. Words cannot express our joy of new life. Since you are our child I will bless with you my family name "Titan" and middle name "Lalita" an ancient word for beautiful woman. I do believe that a name is just like spell, chant or mantra. I wish that you will be a beautiful woman who is loved by everyone."
"Tyas..." she says while pointing her finger into herself and look at Jack.
Jack nods.
"Lalita Titan..." she says while pointing her finger into herself and look at Meyrlion
Meyrlion nods. "Welcome to the world, child. Now your name is Tyas Lalita Titan. I will write your born certificate as a member of the Titan family."
Grfrrmmm...
A strange sound comes from Tyas stomach could be heard by everyone. She is blushing while closing her face with her palms.
Jack laughs. "Thank you for being born to be our daughter, Tyas," Jack says. "Here, you must be hungry and thirsty. Eat to your heart content. We still have much more food in the kitchen"
