Chapitre 9: The Select Six

We slept peacefully knowing that the horde is long gone. I woke to the sound of someone roller skating, it was a kid from the group on the bus. He is Mason, or at least I think he's Mason. He was into it and then he fell. I couldn't hold in my laughter, "Are you okay?" I giggled, he got up and said, "Yeah, I'm fine. Morning," "Morning," I shot back. He was unusually relaxed for it being the apocalypse. I join him, a break from the chaos is beneficial. Person after person joined in, eventually everyone was skating, then everyone was hungry. The skating rink had an abundance of frozen pizza so we had that for breakfast. "Today we are going to look for food, we will stop at all stores on the way, Alex, Ravyn, Jake, Josh, Brandon, and I will go out. The rest of you will stay here and protect our base from raiders," I stated "You may be thinking 'Who put you in charge?!' well no one did, we all have equal power, but the ones heading out have all seen action and can handle themselves," I continued. "You can prove your worth if you follow directions, stay inside, kill all zombies on sight, use the most silent ways to kill them, and keep all peaceful survivors in the lobby until we come back." Ravyn added, and on that note we left.
