Ramos's Gogoat clearly has a very powerful aura but so does Honedge.
Ramos and Julian went for the attack simultaneously.
Ramos "Use Zen Headbutt"
Julian "Iron Head"
Honedge clearly has the better advantage in this match, well he will have a better match-up with most of his battles because of his typing, he is immune to three typing, resistant to eight typing, and weak to four typing.
With Gogoat being a Grass-type pokemon it doesn't have many attacks that could take down Honedge.
Gogoat charged at Honedge with its horns pointed at him, its horns flowed pinkish-purple in color, and as its speed increased it left a glowing trail behind it.
Honedge also dove towards Gogoat at full speed before putting his blade back into his scabbard, the tip of the scabbard being aimed at Gogoat, the scabbard covered in steel energy reflected the sunlight coming from the top.
When both pokemons collided, it created a powerful shockwave that caused the branches around them to shake violently, the power created by the collision was incredible.
As soon as both pokemons separated after the impact, Julian's Honedge started to glow, Julian knew that Honedge was close to evolving and he expected Honedge to evolve during the battle but it looks like he will be evolving just after the very first challenging exchange between him and Gogoat.
As the glow got brighter Honedge started to change, his body started to split into two making two sword-like shapes, when the glow disappeared Doublade finally appeared in front of everyone's sight.
Both blades of his were out of the scabbard, the purple tails attached to the hilt were moving around violently in the air and the biggest eye-catching thing about Doublade is his blades, they were crimson red in color. Since he is shiny he is clearly very different from a normal Doublade.
Julian is happy, now that Honedge has evolved into Doublade, his defense has gone very high through the roof so Julian is not worried about the big hits from Gogoat anymore, he is confident enough of his Doublade that he can handle it.
And his attack has also gone up so he will be dealing some heavy damage, Doublade's other stats also rose up but they didn't grow exceptionally which could benefit Doublade in a battle, like his special defense, it is still very low compared to pokemons of the same level.
It is still a little dangerous because Gogoat has good special attacks as well, so getting hit by one can still be devastating.
Ramos also looked at Doublade and was surprised but he didn't linger too much on his thoughts and went for the attack, he knows what he needs to do to win this battle.
Ramos "Use Solar Beam"
Ramos wanted to go big and end it in one go and as soon as his Gogoat heard his call it started to collect the sunlight
Julian 'I want to end this in one big hit'
Julian thought and called his move as well.
Julian "Furry Cutter, full speed"
Hearing Julian, the two blades of Doublade connected themselves through their hits and suddenly started to spin, this time the spinning blade is even bigger than before.
The glowing dirty green blade and a hint of red within it looked very menacing.
Gogoat is charging up and so does Doublade. Since he is continuously using Fury Cutter, its attack power is rising exceptionally, every second its power is rising.
After a few seconds, Gogoat is done charging up its Solar Beam while Doublade's Fury Cutter was also maxed up, it was clearly more powerful than the Solar Beam that would be coming his way.
Gogoat launched the Solar Beam full speed, the Solar Beam tore through the air leaving behind shockwaves.
Julian "Straight through it"
Julian said. As Doublade is spinning, the tip of his blade cutting through the air was making a humming sound and with Julian's command, he just shot towards the Solar Beam.
As the moves made contact, Doublade started to cut straight through the Solar Beam, seeing this, Ramos was shocked, he didn't expect this to happen at all but it did, since Fury Cutter is a bug type move it could easily overpower a grass type move and on top of that the Fury Cutter was fully maxed, meaning it was four times more powerful than a first stage Fury Cutter.
The two beams of Solar Beam hit the ground and destroyed the battlefield while Doublade continued to move forward, seeing the incoming attack Ramos knew he has to do something, he cannot use any defensive move because Doublade will just pass right through it because of his ability No Guard.
Ramos "Quick, Grassy Terrain"
Gogoat stopped using Solar Beam and released an energy pulse which suddenly changed the battlefield, the battlefield started to release a green aura, Ramos Gogoat has an ability called Grass Pelt which will increase its defense in a Grassy Terrain.
Ramos hopes that his Gogoat can tank the hit from Doublade, as Doublade made contact with the Gogoat, Gogoat was sent shooting through the air, it then hit the ground hard and continued to roll further, once it stopped rolling.
Gogoat gritted its teeth and tried its best to get back to its feet, that Fury Cutter really did a number on it, with every bit of strength left in its body, it tried to stand straight but its legs finally gave up and its body crashed on the ground and blacked out.
Referee "Gogoat is unable to battle, Doublade wins"
The referee called out.
