Chapitre 13: 13 New `Sense'
After the Twins had been punished sufficiently for their actions, Molly and the other moms waved their wands and stopped the `fight'. ``What did you think would happen if you pranked everyone at the same time?'' it wasn't any of the moms who had asked the first question, instead it came from Ron. The twins who were currently looking a bit haphazard just smiled in response and Fred answered first, ``Well, usually we wouldn't make a rookie error like that but..'' looking over to his twin who finished his sentence, ``it was just too good of a chance and just so we are clear…'' Fred and George both snickered before saying, ``This is not over!!''. Bill, Charlie, Percy and Cedric all looked at the joking but a bit serious maniacal look on the Twins's faces and felt a shiver run down their spine!! ``*Smack* yes it is over. I don't want to see any one of you casting spells at each other outside our supervision!!'' Pandora and Blaire both had the same look on their face and none of the kids wanted to see their mother's angry .*Shiver*
``O yeah! if we do find you misusing your gifts, we will take them away!!!'' This threat was probably the most effective as no prank wars involving Magic Spells had taken place in the Burrow. But this didn't mean no prank wars had taken place at all!! The twins had shown their genius and had used everyday `Magic' objects in their efforts to get back at their older brothers!!! They had even resorted to reading and learning from every book in the house, just for the sake of getting back at someone. But the rest of the Weasleys and even Cedric hadn't been left behind and had instead taken inspiration from the two troublemakers and taken to the books! ``Iactare!'' ``Rusrus!'' Bill, Charlie, Percy and Cedric had within a month managed to learn two new pranking spells and the results were, kind of disgusting! Ron remembered the twins vomiting and scratching over and over until Percy and Charlie stopped the spell only for the twins to throw Dung bombs and Stink Pellets at their older brothers! `Ahh! Oh my god!' just remembering the sight almost made Ron puke but his Occlumency talents came in handy once again!!
Just as all the `fun' was getting too much, it was time for Bill to go back to Hogwarts for his Second Year and this year the whole family went to drop him off at King's Cross Station. ``Wow! This is so amazing!!!'' while his family thought Ron was surprised at the grandeur of the `Hogwarts Express', which he was. It wasn't the reason for him gasping out loud, `The amount of Charms attached to this Train are Awesome!! I can't imagine the amount of time, money and effort that went into creating a Magical Object this big!'. That's right, the `Hogwarts Express' was a Magical Object like Ron's Runic Objects but at a much bigger scale and instead of Runes, the Magical part of the `Hogwarts Express' came from the Charms imbuing the `Train' with certain magical properties. ``come on Ginny, you got to let go of him! He will be back pretty soon!'' Molly was trying to get Ginny to let go of Bill without making her cry but Ron knew it was going to be a tough battle. As the youngest child of the family, Ginny received nothing but love from both the parents and her siblings. But as Bill knew he had to leave after two months, he had spoiled the little lady of the Weasley House!
And just as Ron predicted, Ginny started to cry and it made the whole trip back home even sadder than it already was. But a few days passed and the mood around the house started to improved and everyone was back to where they started. Arthur, whose whole department, thanks to his `gifts' and his relations with Scrimgeour, was much bigger than it would have ever been and had become busy with his work at the Ministry. Molly was still at home but every other day, Pandora and Blaire would visit and Molly was able to pass her time by talking with her friends while watching her kids `battle' each other and their friends!! Ron couldn't remember how many times he sighed as during the time the Moms taught the kids how to better control their magic and the best ways to use their Runic objects, every time it would end with a small scale battle that without the Rings, Necklaces and Earrings, would result in someone getting hurt!! While all this was going on, Ron was busy with practising Potions and Runes but another thing had started to take more and more of his time, he was trying to find out how he had been able to sense Magic before someone cast it. And after a few weeks, he had found out exactly how he had done it!!
`I can't believe it!!! Just the act of me going for a run has given me such a big blessing!' One day, during the time he was trying to figure out his new talent, he was sitting down and meditating after a run and he felt it!! He felt the Magical Energy seeping into his body, healing his body and making it stronger and better suited to hold Magic!! He latched onto the feeling and `saw' the Magic being drawn into his body and felt it enhancing his body, making it more and more sensitive to the presence of Magic. Very few Wizards and Witches were capable of developing this `sense' and each and every one of them was much, much older than Ron. Ron was in deep joy at the thought of how he could use this new talent and he had found some inspiration from a few things he remembered from his previous life, `Hehe!'
