Chapitre 53: Starlight's Dream (Starlight story begins)
Time passed quickly, Starlight already graduated from elementary school and middle school. She is heading to high school soon.
During her earlier years, she was very grateful for her parents and everything she's done for her.
"Starlight! Which high school you're going to?" Teresa said. Teresa is Starlight's best friend since elementary school.
"I'm going to University of Science and Technology high school." Starlight said proudly.
"Whoa, we are the same!! I can't believe we are going to the same high school! I knew you would make it! You're so gifted in everything you do." Teresa said happily.
University of Science and Technology high school is the most prestigious high school in all China. Only top 20 percent of students can make it there.
"Thank you believing in me. Hey, let's go for bubble tea. It's over there!" Teresa and Starlight ran as fast as they could.
"High 5, finally we got it!" They were so happy.
"I'm going to call my parents since they don't know I made it there." Starlight said happily. Teresa nodded.
After few rings, "Mom! I got in! University of science and techology high school accepted me today." I yelled in happiness.
"You did it! Mom is so proud of you! Go tell daddy! He should be finished with his meeting." My mom said. My mom is currently working at home because my twin sisters had been sick for a while.
I said yes. As I called my dad, Uncle David picked it up, "Uncle David, is dad there?" David handed the phone to Daniel, "Hey Sweetie, anything happened at school?"
"Dad! I got into University of science and technology high school! I got accepted today. I am one step closer to my dream!" Daniel said, "You are the best, my lovely daughter. Keep on working hard. Meet you at home!" Daniel hanged up and smiled.
David was curious and asked, "What happened to Starlight?"
Daniel answered, "She got into the most prestigious high school in China."
David was ecstatic and said, "That's great, she is one step closer to her dream."
Daniel smiled with happiness.
(4 years passed.)
School years finally passed without anything bad happening. Thankfully. Starlight continued to work hard everyday so she can be a doctor in the future.
