Chapitre 4: Chapter 4 - muddy waters
Where am I ? Where is everyone ? Why is everything so dark? These questions keep on rolling in my mind but sudden they where interrupted by a faint whisper.. .....
suddenly I stared feeling so cold and alerted in the same time as I listen to the words of a female belonged voice. She said
"Feels like falling , falling into an unknown world with no catalogue to guide ....or even a whisper of direction . It feels like the world is changing every minute and I cannot keep up with these weird changes. With each passing minute I feel the need to run back to the past , I live in the past cause I am too scared to face the future.
Zombies do exist but they don't have to look all horrible and bloody. They can be disguised in old / middle aged/ young / same as your age human beings with beautiful faces , waiting for the right moment to let their own thoughts, habits or even ideas to eat up your brain . Like a brain wash a new idea is not acceptable , an idea that may shine light into the pitch black night that we live in cannot be present . Like water , the world was once clean and clear but after the pollution of the still rising dark ideas it has become a muddy water and most of us are willing to fall in it ."
Why does she sound familiar ?
Why does she sound so sad and so depressed?
Why does she feel lonely?
What are zombies? And How can they disguise as people like us ?
How old is she to say such big words? She sounds so young.
More questions starts to float in my mind as I recap her words in my mind. Suddenly screams fill the room and my ears can't take it anymore as I start to scream with "STOP , STOP , PLEASE MAKE IT STOP"
"Jazz wake up it's just a nightmare " I open my eyes to meet Ella's tears in her eyes. She helps me to sit up and hugs me soo tightly as if we haven't seen each other in ages. I let go of her as she says
"Jaz , you have been having the same dream since your turned 18 , what is going on with you ?"
I look at her with a puzzled expression. Then, I asked her
"How do you know that it's the same dream? "
"You say the same words and every time ? She answered with a guarded expression
"Like? " I urged he for more information
"Words like : muddy waters ,zombies and falling" the. She paused and asked "how come you say those big words , it's like a poem or a song"
I looks at the wall and I answered her with "it's not a poem , it's a midnight thoughts "
"A what? I didn't hear you ? " Ella responded with so much curiosity but like they always say curiosity killed the cat and I am not willing to lose this one.
"Nothing Ella just go back to sleep,it's late and well will start the work tomorrow.? I answered her following with a yawn from me.
"But I -"
"Ella drop it ! " I told her with an angry expression. I know I can be harsh sometimes but the girl knows how to piss me off.
"Fine." With a defeated expression she went back to her bed.
