On the other side of the world, a short and bespectacled man had finally arrived at a tall building.
Several tall and black men who guarded the door greeted him respectfully.
The short bespectacled man simply smiled and waved as he strode by.
"Now that, Raffias, is Shark Umberton. He is one of the most influential people who reside in this tower. He actually purchased the rooftop of this very tower so be sure to treat him with the utmost respect!" The black man with a more distinguished uniform spoke.
Raffias, the guard-in-training nodded and imprinted the figure of the man who just passed by.
"I know that man! I've seen him on the news! Isn't he that business guru and professor? He is fighting for the human rights of his people." The other guard nodded.
Next Chap tomorrow.
Although nothing much SEEMED to have happened on this chapter, this chapter actually foreshadows a lot of things.
Since Lowengren had to pretend like an angel and had to talk like one, there are a lot of Jewish/Christian terms here.
Ichabod- A name that appears in 1 Samuel. Israel was defeated and so this name was given to a priest. It means "No glory." As the son was born after the Israelites faced a really bad defeat. Thousands dead and an old fat priest died because his seat broke. (I'm being serious.)
LoAmmi- A son of Prophet Hosea who was ordered by God to marry a prostitute and God tells the Prophet that his kids won't be his and orders him to name his son LoAmmi which means "not my people."
Day of Purim- A holiday that Jews celebrate to this day. Celebrate to commemorate the events in the Book of Esther. The Jews were scheduled to be massacred by imperial decree, but things took a sudden turn and long story short, those who wanted the Jews dead were killed instead. So Lowengren used this holiday to mean "the day of deliverance" is near.
Times of the Gentiles- A New Testament term indicating an era where God would give mercy to the Gentiles.
