I thought back to the message I received. If I had gained a single Pokepoint for winning this fight then why had I not gained one for the previous fight?
"Because host, the system doesn't support suicidal tendencies such as fighting an opponent that's many times more powerful than you."
Having heard the verdict I cringed. I had put me and my partner in danger for a stupid reason, but was that a good enough reason to rub salt into the wounds when I already learned that lesson. Ignoring the system for now I looked towards Emblaze and the Pokemon on the ground.
Making up my mind I grabbed a Pokeball and threw. Only to miss my target and hit Emblaze. The lizard who was rudely interrupted glared at me. "Sorry," I sounded out trying to ignore the blush that tinted my cheeks darker. Throwing another I finally succeeded and lo and behold I caught the Pokemon.
"Congratulations on catching another new Pokemon for yourself. Rewarding 5 Pokepoints."
Walking over I picked up the Pokeball and was about to summon it when I realized that since this was now a real world it might attack me if I'm not careful. "Hey Emblaze," seeing I had his attention I continued "do you want to send this one to the lab or do you want to introduce yourself?"
Thinking only for a moment the lizard shook his head. "No; He or She needs medical help now, and we're still in training so it wouldn't be the wisest thing to do." Agreeing on the sentiment I put the Pokeball on my Pokedex and watched it disappear.
Now that all the danger had passed I went into the bushes and drew up my shop once more. I went into my skill chart trying to find a use for the little amount of points I had. Finally finding a skill that costed one Point I looked over it.
"Pokemon Dancing Talents- Teaches the trainer how to train his Pokemon to dance excellently."
Looking over it I thought about creating a full Pokemon team just for dancing. Or another more practical use would be using this for the contestant occupation. Is this a freebie I wondered to myself. Throwing cation to the wind I spent one of my six points that I had just gained on it.
Instantly I knew all dance moves even the ones for the Z moves from Pokemon Sun and Moon. Sighing in wonderment I performed the fire one only to realized at the end that I had no Z crystals to use them or even that Z bracelet thing they show in the series.
Nodding to myself at the well spent purchase that even if I couldn't use now I would easily get away with later I started to scroll through another category I was curious about. The Item Section. Opening it up I finally found what I was looking for.
Pokemon Charcoal- Adding on to the previous 47 discovered ones this piece of Charcoal never stops burning. This Item is indestructible leading it to being unable to be used to forge an Armour from. This Item if stored into a Pokemon's internal storage (Which is a Pocket Dimension all Pokemon have access to to store one Poke based item in) can be used to enhance a Pokemon's fire type move's explosive power by 25%. Cost 5 Pokepoints.
Smirking in plain happiness as well as a bit of Arrogance I instantly bought it. In that moment a summoning circle appeared beneath me scaring the living daylight out of Emblaze. After a few minutes of him running around like a headless chicken he finally stopped realizing nothing was happening.
Instantly turning an accusing look towards me I picked the piece of Charcoal on the ground up and shook it in front of the fire breathing lizards face. "So Buddy do you want this," I said with the largest grin I had ever given in both lives. Nodding Emblaze ran up to me feeling the items power from his blood as a Pokemon. We both knew he wanted it. It was sorta like a dog begging for a dog treat.
Throwing it to him I watched as he dived trying to prevent it from touching the ground treating the Charcoal as some sort of extremely fragile thing. Instantly the moment the Charcoal touched his hands it disappeared almost as if it never existed in the first place. Going to some small pocket dimension or something. "Lets go battle a few more Pokemon," I called behind me as I walked off.
The title was given by Wolflord.
