That voice unmistakably on my right side where no one walking beside me or even near me within five-meter radius! And how I know that when the voice forbids me from looks back? From the sneak glance I took at reflective glass wall on my right side without turning my head and the wall mirror that serves as a pillar not far from me show it there is no one behind us! And we still walk ahead and sidestepped a bit when reaching the mirrored pillar. And I took the opportunity that came just a few seconds to glimpse if my eyes playing tricks on me and reconfirm who the guy that tails us so close.
But there is no one!
Oh my God! Sis Gie, help me!!! NO, I AM NOT CRAZY! Then what is this all about? a hallucination? Or I am becoming a future candidate for a mental institution? And once I confirm there is no one or body that belong to that voice, I feel a searing hot sensation on my back. From that mirror of the pillar, even in that just a few seconds, I can feel "eyes" watching me, following me. Not us, just me. Bad eyes. Very bad ones...we need to get out of here fast!
Alex looked down when he felt Malina suddenly grab too tight his hands and she shook her head a few times looking down. Like something been snap, she looks ahead again with a very serious face. Is Malina feeling unwell?. Malina probably senses Alex intention to check her temperature when he already slowing his pace. Thus, she hurriedly speaks to forbid him from doing anything that might catch anyone attention and slower their time from getting out of this place that still bears ominous aura.
"Turn your eyes ahead and keep walking. Don't look anywhere else, PLEASE!"
Alex granted Malina's request. Even though he cannot see Malina expression anymore, he can still sense Malina's body exude anxiety feeling getting stronger.
The last words she said to him make him decide the final choice of their destination and hoping that this is the best option for both of them. Alex releases Malina hands and picks out his phone and press number one. The call going through after just one ring.
"Change of plan to Eclipse. Find him nearby Subway and text me when it's done."
He secures Malina's hands again in his and they finally found the main entrance of the airport building. Before they managed to walk out the door suddenly Malina's body surge forwards. Like some force pushing her. Alex releases his luggage to catch Malina from falling down hitting the floor.
"D*mn! It's too late!"
The manly voice sounding again, and she knew it a sign something bad will happen to her since the hot sensation she feels earlier also already turning to pain. And Alex definitely will not be safe either. But I do hope somehow he will coming through from this incident unscathed. It was Malina last thought before she lost consciousness due to unbearable pain.
