Chapitre 200: Bailout
Every single news related to Katherine Bradford's case was updated to Ronnie.
Daniel West came to the Roy mansion with a detailed report on Katherine Bradford's health. Both Ronnie and Jayne listened to all the information. Finally, Daniel West revealed the news of Katherine Bradford's pregnancy.
On hearing the news of her pregnancy, Ronnie and Jayne were at first shocked. "What? Katherine Bradford is pregnant? Does her father know about this Dan?" Ronnie questioned Daniel West.
"Boss, Katherine Bradford herself didn't know this. She herself is too shocked. But then, I've received news that she has decided to apply to the court to extend her stay at the hospital." Daniel West answered
Jayne held Ronnie's hands and looked into his eyes. "Ron, let's end this right now. I don't care what she had planned to do to me earlier. The fact that I'm perfectly fine and here with you is enough."
Ronnie immediately understood what Jayne wanted to say. He didn't interrupt her though.
"Right now, she's pregnant Ron. I know we aren't even doing anything to her. But then, I think we should bail her out especially when nobody else is coming forward at such a crucial time." Jayne requested Ronnie.
Ronnie looked into his wife's eyes which spoke of the beautiful soul she was. Perhaps this compassion was a part of the earlier Maya. This part of her nature was something even the nature's fury couldn't wash away though her memories did. He knew she had travelled most of her life in storms and not on calm seas. Yet, she always goes out of her way to help anyone in trouble.
"Of course my Queen. Your wish is my command! You please stop worrying about her honey!" Ronnie lovingly patted his wife's head.
Daniel West who was being fed with their dog food coughed slightly.
"Yes Dan! Carry on with the procedures of her bailout." Ronnie instructed Daniel West without being distracted
"Understood boss!" Daniel West didn't disturb them anymore and left.

Katherine Bradford was receiving an IV dip when the nurse came with the news of her bailout.
Due to the recent developments, she had given up all hopes on her life. If not for the baby in her tummy, she almost wanted to resort to ending her life.
But then, the sudden news of her bailout literally shook her. She couldn't describe what emotions she was going through right now. "W-W-What? Somebody-Somebody bailed me out?" Tears started welling up in her eyes.
The nurse excitedly said, "Yes! You heard me right! Your bail has been approved. You can leave as soon as you're fine."
Katherine Bradford thought it must be her dad who took pity on her to bail her out. But then she knew her dad would never go against Ronnie Roy. Just as she was pondering on who bailed her out, the nurse's voice sounded, "Don't you want to know who bailed you out?
"Yes nurse! I was about to ask you that. Who dared to bail me out?" She asked with a frown.
"It's Mrs Jayne Roy!" The nurse smiled.
Katherine Bradford fell silent. Tears continued to stream down her eyes. She didn't have the words to express herself. She felt extremely shameful. The person she tried to harm was the same person who saved her. Her tears were the only answer she had at the moment.
The next day Jayne, Emma Dalton and Daniel wet visited Katherine Bradford at the hospital.
They looked at Katherine Bradford. Her face which was usually smeared with layers of makeup was now totally pale. Her hair was all over the place. She lay in her bed quietly with her eyes closed.
Emma Dalton felt pity for her. She had never seen her Kate so low. She was always magnificent and full of pride. Her current pale features made her feel very sorry for her. She walked up to her and held her hands. "Kate!" Her eyes glistened when she called out.
Katherine Bradford wasn't fully asleep. She opened her eyes when she heard someone calling her. She knew it was Emma. But behind her, she saw Jayne Roy as well.
Her eyes immediately darted to the side and became glazed with a layer of tears. As she blinked, they dripped from her eyelids and slid down her cheeks. She bit her lip tightly in an attempt to hide any sound that wanted to escape from her mouth. Her lower lip quivered as she desperately tried to tamper down her tears.
Jayne and Emma Dalton felt sorry for Katherine Bradford.
Emma Dalton held on to Katherine Bradford's hands tighter. "Kate! Does Adam know about this? Do you want me to talk to him?"
"No Emma! He doesn't even want to speak to me. It seems his dad has forbidden him to remain in touch with me." Katherine Bradford spoke in between tears.
Jayne's mouth twitched on listening to it.
Katherine Bradford looked at Jayne, "Jayne Roy! How on earth can you be so magnanimous? That's the reason I hated you so much! Even now, when everybody else including my parents left me, it's still you who came to my rescue!" She began wailing out now.
Jayne immediately came forward. "Katherine! Shh! It's okay! It's alright! Just forget that this incident even took place. Tell me what you intend to do next after you get discharged from here? Especially now with the baby-" She couldn't complete her sentence.
Katherine Bradford sniffed and calmed down before answering her. "I've decided to move to the United States where my grandparents stay. I already spoke to them last night. They want me to come over once I'm free of all the charges. I don't want to trouble my parents. My dad would never accept this baby. So, for now I'll move to the States and stay there for the time being and think about the rest later."
