"I have informed home that you will be staying here for the time being," Lu Lijun informed. 

Jiang Yuyan realized she had almost forgotten about the family and said, "You didn't tell them…."

"I had to or they would have been worried. Don't worry, they are fine as long as you are."

"I have to return home. I am fine now…"

"You are not. Until your doctor says you are fine and I permit you to leave, you are not going anywhere," he instructed firmly. 

She looked at him and he looked back at her. "Don't worry, I just want to take care of you the way you have taken care of me and our family. I don't mean anything else other than just taking care of you. Once you are fine, I won't stop you."

Jiang Yuyan nodded but hearing him, she didn't know if she was fine or not. He sounded like he had given up on her and she could go on her way. She felt heavy in her heart. 

"Do you want to take a walk?" he asked.
