Chapitre 12: Her grandfather
Her mother's family was not from 'A' city.
Her grandfather was an influential politicians in 'B' city.And also had a very large business managed by her maternal uncle.
Eventhough her Maternal grandfather was influential figure in society,but he was not very fond of her and her younger sister,because they were girls.
At least he was the first person who was not biased like her parents.
But Everything changed when she went her cousin's birthday party.He was elder son of her uncle,and completed his twenty years that day.
She went to meet her grandfather with her family which was probably fourth meeting between grandfather and granddaughter in these thirteen years.
When her grandfather saw her he was shocked.He smiled first time at her.
She was confused and got Goosebumps after seeing his smile. Even her parents were shocked then how could she not.
She got her answer after five minutes when her grandfather took her to his study, to show her a portrait, abandoning everyone in hall.
That portrait was of a middle aged woman,who was in her last forties.
Her grandfather told her that woman in portrait was her grandmother.
And surprising thing was that she herself was looking just like her grandmother.
Her mother had some features which resembled her grandmother, but she was a younger version of her grandmother.
She was looking at her grandmother's portrait with awe,when she heard her grandfather's voice.
"Your parents did one good thing to give birth you." he got emotional.After his wife's death ,it was the first time he was this happy.
In birthday events,all the time he didn't leave her hand,and introduced her to everyone ....which he rarely done even with his own son and grandchildren.
Chapitre 13: Lily Wood
At that time,she didn't know that her life will be changed because of this.
He changed her real name to 'Lily Wood'.
Lily that was her grandmother name.
Her grandfather showed everyone that he found his heir in his granddaughter.
Her uncle and his children didn't have any objections. None of them was in politics so it was good that there was someone who was there to continue this legacy.
So without getting her opinion,everyone decided for her on their own.
Thirteen years old unintentionally involved in complicated world.That time her tiny mind didn't understand it. She was happy because of care she was receiving from her grandfather.
When her school exams end ,her grandfather wanted to live her with his family.so he could nurture her in politician...his successor.
Hahaha...and that was the reason,her parents send her to overseas.
Because they can't give this golden opportunity to her.In their eyes,Lexi was perfect for this.
Because her grandfather didn't agree with them,they sent her overseas.And issue didn't resolve in three months,so they created problem in her admission,and didn't left any money for her in bank accounts.
When her cousin told her about this ,she laughed.Laughed on herself.
Her value was not equal to a mere political seat.
Did anyone asked her what she want.Whether she is interested in this so called Power or not.
She didn't rejected before only because she didn't want to disappoint her grandfather.But because of this,she got abandoned.
And when her cousin told her that her grandfather won't agree with her parents at any cost,she knew...she knew that her parents won't allow her to come home till this matter resolved.
Her grandfather could have forced his way with them to call her back,but don't know what her parents told him ,he decided not to do anything,and didn't contact her in future.
