Shorty after landing at the largest of the many airports owned by the Lee family in the capital or Rine, Mary was standing in the airport waiting for her luggage. She was looking at her phone to confirm her room at the Suki hotel, when she spotted her sapphire travel bag. She quickly placed her phone back into her purse before walking up to grab her bag. At the same time the gentleman who was seated next to her walked up and grabbed his black suitcase, and dark brown dufflebag, "Ah, so we meet again Miss." She smiled at him, but was still surprised at how much he resembled Tom, "May I know your name?"
"Mary..." She looked into his green eyes and couldn't stop thinking about the voicemails Tom had left her.
"Nice to see you again, Mary. My name is Rex. I will be here for a week, if we happen to meet up again would you allow me to take you out for lunch or something?"
Mary tucked her curly brown hair behind her right ear, "Sure."
His phone made a single dinging sound, and he glanced at his phone before speaking. "I have to get going now. My ride is here. See you around, Mary." He lowered his head to give a single nod before looking back up at her with a bright smile.
"Nice meeting you, Rex." Mary took her luggage, and made her way to the rental car center. She decided to just rent a car during her stay here, instead of paying for a taxi every time she wanted to go somewhere.
As soon as she walked into the Renta-Center part of the airport she was greeted by a young girl with blonde hair and green eyes, "Welcome to Renta-Center. Do you need to rent a car, or did you already reserve one online?"
"I need to rent one."
"Okay, we have a few different options to choose from. Luxury, SUV, Car, or Hybrid. Do you have a preference?"
"Just a car, it doesn't matter."
"Okay, I will check what we have available on the lot." The girl looked down at the computer screen, and clicked a few times before looking back up at Mary, "Do you have a color preference? We have a silver BMW or a Blue Audi."
"I will take the silver BMW."
"Sounds good, how long will you be renting the car?"
"Can I start with three days, and then extend it depending on how long I stay in Rine?"
"Yes, we can do that." The girl smiled before telling Mary the total, and then running Mary's card, "Here you go Miss Sun. Enjoy your stay in Rine."
"Thank you." Mary took her card back.
"If you want, you can wait here and one of our drivers will bring up the car."
"Thanks." Mary smiled back at the girl before turning around and staring out at the bright lights of the city. 'It's 10 pm in Ahmeri right now, but it's 11 am here in Rine. I am glad I took that nap on the plane here.' She pulled out her phone, and opened up her messaging app and looked at the massage she had sent, below it showed a single check mark saying the massage was successfully sent, but he had not read it, if he had it would have been two check marks.
As thoughts were running through her mind she saw the silver car pull up to the entryway of the rental place. A middle aged man alighted from the drivers seat, and then ran into the building. When he saw Mary standing there he automatically made his way to her, "Miss Sun? The car is ready. I turned on the heated seat for you. Do you want help with your luggage?"
"Oh, thank you." She handed over her suitcase, and then followed him out into the cold winter air. She quickly made her way to the drivers seat, and then melted into the heat from the seat. After the man loaded her suitcase he walked around to the passenger side to knock on the door to let her know she was good to go. She gave the okay symbol with her finger, and the man smiled before turning around to head back inside to the warmth.
Before driving off she entered in the address to the Suki hotel into the GPS in the car. From the airport to the hotel it was only a twenty-five minute drive. On the way she noticed Swan, it was said to be one of the best restaurants in the whole country. 'I have to eat there at least once before I leave Rine.' she told herself as she drove past it.
When she came up to the rather large hotel she didn't even realize that her jaw had dropped. This place was larger than any building she had ever seen. It wasn't the tallest she had seen, but the size in general was massive. It had to be twice the size of the airport she just left. When she was reading the reviews on this place on LyfeStory she was a little skeptical about the size, but now that it was in front of her face she couldn't help but want to pull out her phone at take a photo.
