Chapitre 18: Bridge
"What's up with this gimmick?" Jiang Cheng asked and frowned when he saw Wei Wuxian's holding a blindfold.
Wei Wuxian frowned. "You've been holing up in your room all the time." He said. "If it wasn't for my birthday happening, then you wouldn't go out of your room!" he told him, his hands on his waist as he looked at him like a mom scolder her rebellious son.
Jiang Cheng frowned at the image he thought. Yes. It's Wei Wuxian's birthday today, and they're all here in Gusu to celebrate it.
Right. Not Yunmeng, since Wei Wuxian's now Lan Wangji's wife – who won't even let the other even a foot away from him.
Jiang Cheng sighed at the thought as he looked around. There's not much people and only close friends and families are present. After all, this is the Yiling Patriarch – who has many enemies, birthday.
"Ah Ling." He called when he saw his nephew, together with Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi, walking his way.
"Yes, uncle?" Jin Ling asked.
"I'd take fresh air for a moment." He told him and immediately left before his nephew could answer.
He roamed around the area and, finally, when he got bored he went further around using his memories, when he was young and studied here, to walk around.
He stopped when he passed by bridge. "This is..." he muttered under his breath. He didn't realize, his feet sent him towards the bridge.
In the corner of his heart, he's expecting he'd see that person standing in the middle of the bridge. Why? He thought.
It's because this is where the first time they met.
