Lan Xichen sheathed his sword when he landed on the ground. Just as he passed by a desolate forest of Yunmeng, he saw something under the trees.
And so he descended. He didn't expect that... he'd see a beautiful sight – he's sleeping under the shade of the tree, a book on his hand that's rested on his lap.
The tree is peeking through the leaves, lighting up his face. A satisfied smile is on his face.
Lan Xichen held his breath as he slowly walked towards him, his chest heaving up and down because of too many emotions welling up inside him.
He squatted in front of him as he stared at his sleeping face. "This smile is better than the first one you showed me..." he muttered and raised his hand to touch his face, yet it stopped in mid-air. "This must be fate for me not to see this smile of yours... it just makes me want to lock you up and never show this smile of yours to anyone else..." he muttered, his face serious and his eyes fell on the slightly gaping red lips. "Wanyin..." he muttered as his hand in the air moved.
He brushed his thumb on his lips. So soft... he thought as he sucked in his breath, suddenly felt like he's gonna have an asphyxia.
"You drive me crazy..." he muttered as he lowered his head. He finally let go of his lips.
He stood up and fixed his uniform.
"Wanyin..." he called as he took of his outer robe and covered Jiang Cheng with it. "... don't sleep outside, or you'll catch a cold." He told him, then finally smiled.
He silently left. This isn't the time to confess to him. He thought as he lowered his head, yet a bright smile on his lips.
Well, not yet.
