It was almost ten minutes later before Jeremy managed to calm down. She let his cheeks go and went to stand on her feet, still giving him a suspicious look. 

He rubbed his reddened cheeks unhappily. Why when he was just protecting her, she treated him this way? Has her love toward him lessened than toward his own little sister?

"What are you thinking about?" she asked when she saw his expression. He was pouting sulkily like a little boy, so contra to his actual age.

He pulled her until she fell back into his lap and hugged her tightly. His chin rested on her right shoulder.

"Do you love me?" He asked.

"I..." she paused. She just could not say it, still could not. She closed her eyes with a sigh.

He pulled back and looked at her in hurt. Even now she still could not say the three words. What should he do to make her heart accept him back completely?
