Chapitre 4: A New Start
At dinner...
Iris, wearing a sleeveless silky emerald green dress waited for David at the Lotus Hotel. As David arrived, Iris gaped for a moment.
"What are you staring at? Me?" He taunted.
Iris turned around and blushed, making her pale skin the shade of a rose. David stared at her cute reaction of his words.
They soon reached their table...
"Can I get spaghetti, please?" Iris said to the waiter.
"May I get the steak with a fruit salad please?" David said.
David and Iris talked about their studies, and topics such as movies. And of course, teasing. "Iris, may I ask you something?" David asked. "Why can you not?" Iris replied. This girl is a strange one, David thought.
"Can you be mine?" David had a mysterious, gentle look in his eyes.
"Ummm, I'm sorry. I barely know you. It's only been a second since I met you." Teased Iris.
"Well, if you're not mine, I'll make you mine." He said.
"Well you could try!" Iris challenged.
.....
The next day...
Iris was on her way to classes when she saw David playing soccer. He looked athletic, and handsome. Iris was shocked. She hadn't thought like this since him. David's moves were graceful and elegant. Girls surrounding him every step of the way.
"I didn't know he was a player, I'm glad I didn't say yes." She muttered.
"Excuse me? It took me hours to say that!" Said David.
Iris jumped, when David was behind her.
