Souta had remained in his yard but had not heard anything from the higher ups, after about four days of laying in wait he decided that they didn't care about the deaths of a few disciples or an Elder. Souta had kept his armor on at all times and had kept himself awake in case they showed up during his sleep but it seemed it was all for naught.
He sighed and began cooking, it had been a long time since he could truly relax himself. The consciousness of the body's previous owner was gone and he didn't have to worry about Nagini or the rest bothering him for the moment.
He let his mind ease and slowly took in a deep breath, Souta recounted the time he had spent here and found that he had been rather constrained. He was in a new world but he had done nothing to explore it, it was a giant adventure just waiting for him.
Brought from his musings, Souta walked towards his gate where the noise had come from. His body ready to attack if the person was hostile. However upon opening it he found it was just Ginjuro.
"What do you want." stated Souta
"Well it's actually something rather important, do you know about the Sect is about to go to war. It is about to be a golden opportunity to gain merits so I thought it would be wise to inform you." explained Ginjuro
"Come in" said Souta, he was interested in what this Sect war was all about.
"So who are we going to war with" asked Souta siting on a pillow he had bought at some point.
"Oh yes, I forgot that you were trained by your Master in the mountains. You see Brother Souta there are two types of sects in this world, Orthodox Sects and Unorthodox Sects. Then those two divisions can once again be split into Martial Sects like ours, but there are also Mystic Sects." explained Ginjuro.
"What's a Mystic Sect." asked Souta his gaze filled with interest.
"A Mystic Sect initiates those who are capable of casting bizarre arts that twist the heavens and bring forth the elements. It is also Mystic Sects that are responsible for those Talismans and life saving treasure that young lords carry around." continued Ginjuro
"So putting it in another way would be, we are the physical and they are the spiritual" asked Souta curiously.
"That is the perfect analogy, now moving on. I came here to see if you were aware of how best to combat them." stated Ginjuro
"Don't worry, I am sure that I know the ideal way to deal with them." laughed Souta, this was what he had been hoping for when he awoke in this world.
Though he found it odd that the previous owner of his body didn't know about Mystic Sects, though now that he was thinking about it wouldn't the ability of refining pills be a Mystic skill. That thought in mind Souta had already intended to do a bit more than just murder during the Sect war, Ninja were more than just killers after all.
Smiling to himself he began to relay a list of items that would be needed for what he had in mind.
"I need you two to prepare some things for me and I hope you can be quick about it" started Souta as he seemed to come to life.
"What is it you need" asked Liam readily.
"I need as many Bottomless bags as you can find, I need high proof alcohol, and finally I need hallucinogenic powder. Get as much of these as you can no matter the cost, if worse comes to worse tell them you are gathering it for me" explained Souta to which the they both nodded.
"Will that be all brother" asked Ginjuro resolutely.
"Everything else I am already prepared for, but more importantly than anything else I need those Bottomless Bags and the Hallucinogenic powder but get the Alcohol if possible. I am going to steady my mind in the meantime" finished Souta as he returned to his shack.
Souta sat in his cottage with his eyes closed, it was so silent you could hear a pin drop. As time passed and the night approached Souta finally opened his eyes and began his preparations sneaking all around the sect as if he was a ghost. Shortly after he appeared near the Martial hall, he was smirking as a bottomless bag appeared in his hand.
Slipping through the window without being seen Souta looked at the ones who were on guard and found himself deadpanning.
Standing in different corners of the Marital hall sleeping were Liam, Nagini and Ginjuro.
'These idiots' thought Souta as he slowly crept around the Hall, stealthily snatching a few techniques that compliment his current style while also plugging the wholes in his style.
This continued until he found himself in a particularly secluded area where he happened upon a movement technique, Shadowless Flight.
'Interesting' thought Souta as he figured he had what he wanted and began to make his leave, but it was unfortunate he had been inside longer than he thought.
