"Think about it, and answer me later. I'm just looking out for the kid whom I consider to be my eldest son."

After saying this while looking straight into Keren's eyes, Mary smiled in a homely fashion, just like the casual, easy-going mom she had appeared to be till now to Will and Liz.

"Derek! Luke! Come on!"

Calling out to the two, Mary got onto the second car. Will and Liz had gotten onto the first, and although it was waiting for them, the other two also got onto the same car as Mary, as they both didn't want to have a conversation with Liz in the car when she seemed to be fuming.

The cars left after a little while, and there was an awkward silence in the car containing Will and Liz.

Will was smiling ruefully to himself, wondering when was the last time he had been dragged like this for anything.

It had been quite amusing, but he was also slightly puzzled.

Why was Liz so angry?
