Chapitre 11: Second Period- Chapter Eight

As I was dashing for my second class I felt as if it would be uncomfortable and embarrassing to walk in crying so I made a U-turn for the bathroom. As soon as I walked into the bathroom, I saw to girls fixing and applying make-up in the mirror, The two girls were Ivy and Violet. Once they saw me there face that was filled with excitement to see me quickly turned to a worried one.
"What happened?" Ivy asked me, pulling me into a hug. her perfume that she had one wasn't strong and had a very soothing effect. After a few seconds of hugs, I was finally calm enough to tell them what happened. After I told them, they looked at me with slight confusion in there eyes.
"So, I understand it's embarrassing and all, but is there something more that your not telling us?" Violet asked me while passing me a tissue. I blushed slightly before looking down at my feet, why couldn't I answer her?It was an easy question, so I should be able to say something! anything! Ivy widened her eyes and stared at me.
"Do you like him?!?!" She exclaimed.
"W-What! No! I barely know the guy!" I yelled back. trying to push the weird bubbling feeling away.
"Thats not what your face said." Violet said, sticking her finger in my face and tracing in a circle.I swatted her finger away and turned me head to the side.
"I'm not going to break up with a cheating ex and then jump head first into another one. I said rolling my eyes.
"Then what is it!" they said impatiently, and just when I opened my mouth to speak, the bell interrupted my thoughts. Ivy immediately yelled.
"We're gonna be late!! c'mon!" She said running out. Violet and I soon followed, I turned left to rush to my class but Violet's hand griped my arm and looked at me with a serious face.
"When we walk home. your gonna tell us, okay?" she said before letting go and dashing to her own class.

I walked into class late (again) and the teacher simply looked at me and nodded her head, seeing it was the first day, teachers would probably expect kids to come to class late. I sat in a seat at the back of the class and let my eyes wander around before spotting some kids who had there heads turned to look at me. As soon as my eyes landed on them, they immediately turned there heads around and acted like they were listening to the teacher. I was getting pretty pissed about how people were staring at me. I turned back to the teacher when I heard my name being called.
"Y-Yes?" I said. The teacher then looked at me with a smile.
"just taking attendance darling." she said.
"ah! right!" I said, looking down at my table. The teacher had a slight accent, I wonder where she's from? hmm. As I was thinking, I could feel someone still staring at me. That's it! I was prepared to glare at them with the creepiest face I could make, but when I looked up, I saw Luke looking at me. I felt my cheeks burn up so I turned away from him with my arms crossed. If he felt bad, why not make it worse? And exactly as I thought, when I looked up, I saw him giving me the puppy dog eyes. I giggled before hearing the teacher say,
"You can talk with the people around you."
After I heard that, I slowly walked towards him, I was going to make him apologize first, of course. But some of the girls in the class ran up to him first. I turned around carefully and went to go sit back down. I looked at my desk I started tracing circles and squiggles on it, trying to look less awkward.
Someone then came up to me and tapped my shoulder, I turned around and saw some of the guys from that class staring at me with flushed faces.
"Yes?" I asked them.
"W-We were wondering if you would like to uh, sit with us at lunch?" The guy in the middle said, looking at the ground but looked up at me once we finished his sentence.
"Oh! uh, sorry! Me and some other friends are going out for lunch." I said with an apologetic look. The guy immediately looked at me with a smile.
"Don't worry! it's fine, just thought we could ask, we won't bother you now!" The guy said bowing at me before rushing back to his seat with some of his friends. Bowing? I thought of why the guy would bow to me before running away, I tilted my chair back as I thought Maybe It's just a family thing?
"When did bowing become a trend?" A voice said from behind me. I jumped up as my chair tilted back even further. I shot my hands out from my lap and stretched them back, as the chair was falling I pushed myself up with my hands and flipped over it. My legs flew with my body and stuck to the ground when they landed, I pushed my hands up from the floor as I was now standing up. I looked at whoever scared me so bad that I had to flip out of my chair which was going to fall. When I looked I saw Luke. I was prepared to give him a piece of my mind when clapping interuppted my thoughts.
"Well done Sara! that was elegant as it was quick!" The teacher said, applauding me from the trick I did. My face turned a slight red when I relized that the classes eyes were on me because of what the teacher said. I waved my hands back and forth in front of my face.
"No! t-that was just an accident!" I said but I gave up soon seeing that her face still had the "I-don't-believe-that-was-just-an-accident" Look on it. Embarassed, I sat down and put my head on the table. Why do I have to be so extra?

The bell soon rang and I raced for the door, but someone grabbed my arm before I could. I sighed before turning around to see Luke, he looked quite sad. I felt my stomach turn, because I knew that I made him feel that way.
"can we talk, please?" he asked me. I tried my best to keep a strong face but I just couldn't. after everything with Mike, I had become sensitive to small talk. As if he knew I was going to cry again, he held my hand and pulled me to a quite place, but I didn't miss the side eye some of the girls gave me while we where walking out holding hands.
We came across a quite place that was closer to one of the exits of the school. I looked at the ground the entire time we were walking, only looking up when we stopped walking and his soft hand was no longer gripping mine.
"So.." he said nervously.
"So.." I repeated back looking at him. We looked at each other for a good minute or so before his eyes drooped down.
"Im sorry." He looked at me.
"I shouldn't have made fun of you like that." He said softly.
"No, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have taken it to heart, you were just messing aroun-"
"And my messing around made you cry," He interuppted, " I never wanted to make you cry." He said sweetly. My heart had been beating faster than usual but I still looked at him with a smile.
"Your too cheesy." I said smiling, ruining the sweet moment before it got any sweeter. He laughed before looking at me with a smile.
"Friends?" He asked looking at me.
"Friends." I replyed. I giggled before grabbing his hand and running with him.
"Now, let's find the others!" I said.
"Uh I think I already found them." He said suddenly stopping. I almost fell but caught myself.
"Hey! what was tha-" before I could say anything else, he covered my lips with his hand. My face turned pink before I moved his hand from my mouth with my own hand.
"Look!" He whispered, pointing to a bench with four people sleeping on it.
Ivy was leaned over, her head was resting on Alex's shoulder and his head was resting on top of hers.
Violet had her head on Jacob's shoulder as well, Except his arm was wrapped protectively around her waist. I almost squealed at the sight. I took out my phone and instantly began snapping photos of them before they woke up.
"To think Jacob was a man with no emotions." Luke joked. I giggled before backing up and putting my phone away.
"All done!" I said to Luke, proud of my work. He laughed before grabbing my hand as we ran away from the scene of the crime, him cracking stupid jokes while we were running.

When we got to the cafeteria, there were already a bunch of students there. I was going to walk in with a smile but Luke soon stopped me.
" What's wrong?" I asked looking at him. He coughed awkwardly before holding up are joined hands.
"Oh, right!" I said trying not to blush. When his hand parted from mine, I felt my hand grow cold without it. Did he not want to be seen in public holding hands? My heart slightly stung with a tugging feeling. He waved at me before running off to join some of his other friends. I stood there for a few seconds alone before I heard voices yelling my name. When I turned over I saw Emily stomping in my direction with an angered face.
"Uh-oh." I thought.
As soon as she came over, she stomped her foot on the ground so everyone knew she was talking.
"I told you to stay away from him! You Just got out of a relationship and your looking for a new one?! How stupid are you??" She yelled at me. I rolled my eyes and looked at her with a bored expression. I was going to say something but a voice rang out from behind her.
"Can you calm down for a second! your not even dating and you already claimed him? why are you so worried that Sara's gonna take him from you? maybe if you talked to him like a normal human being, he would gain some sort of interest in you! so stop crying to Sara about your stupid feelings because you don't have the guts to talk to him!" The voice yelled at her.
When I turned around, Violet, Ivy, Alex, and Jacob were walking torwards me. Violet and Ivy looking the most pissed out of the four, Alex and Jacob simply separated from them and walked torwards Luke. Emily turned around to face them with an even more annoyed face.
"Butt out will you? This has nothing to do with her little minions so step aside! Sara can speak for her own stupid actions!" Emily yelled, even louder than before. She turned to me And shoved me, I took a step back and rolled my eyes.
"Emily, have you not noticed that everyone in this cafeteria has there eyes on you? Do you really want to make your self known as a problem starter? I mean, if you haven't noticed, Luke is in this cafeteria as well, why not try and look for him, huh?" I said softly to her. She stepped back as her eyes searched the crowd of people watching, soon, her entire body went stiff as she turned and ran out the cafeteria, shoving Ivy and Violet as she stomped out.
Violet glared at her one last time before turning torwards me with wide eyes.
"what did you say to her?" Ivy and Violet asked me.
"Nothing! she just looked around the cafeteria and ran out." I lied shrugging. Ivy and Violet noticing my obvious lie, added on by giving each other confused faces and shrugging as well.
"Whatever, I knew she had problems with us but I didn't know she would take it this far." Ivy said.
"let's just go, before she comes back or something." Violet said. We nodded before heading out. to find lunch else where.
"May we join you?" Someone said when I
turned around I saw Luke, Alex, and Jacob already caught up with us.
"Sure!" I answered.
