Chapitre 68: Walking right into the trap

Charles went to his room changed his clothes lied down on the bed and started thinking about how to execute Jamie's plan. Thinking about her, he drifted to his time spent with her, she was the only one he would tease and he loved it. Seeing her reactions made him cheerful and he used to forget all his worries. Thinking about her he finally drifted off to sleep.

The next morning he got ready and took a day off shifting all his responsibilities to James. They didn't know that Jamie was alive Daisy was really sad over her best friends death so she postponed her wedding and James totally supported her. When he called James to take care of the company, he went to his home first. As he entered the house he saw Charles was dressed up and ready to head out, he doubted that something was wrong so he had hurried there. Looking at his he gave a questioning look "Where are you going."

Charles hesitated before lying to his best friend "I have a meeting."
