Chapitre 451: The unexpected romantic evening!

Valentine's Day evening arrived in glamor, and as promised, Lillian Grey and Giselle got dressed up for a date. It was spontaneous and unplanned. However, that made it surprisingly something to look forwards to. Edwin and Lia strictly told them to have fun and enjoy their evening. They even allowed the two to have dinner together since Edwin could watch over Lia at home. With that, Lillian and Giselle left after sunset.

Walking down the streets, the two arrive at the main center, where it got busy with shops, restaurants, cafes, and small businesses flourishing. Stepping into the dynamic, Lillian noticed a lot of shops customized their aesthetics around the concept of love by using red hearts, cute characters, and pretty lights to display their special attractions.

Giselle asked if Lillian had any place in mind to visit. Since she might be the only one who knew her way around here, Giselle let Lillian decide.

Contrary to Giselle's expectation, Lillian stood clueless. She knew of the place but being asked all of a sudden to choose left her blind. She didn't have a place necessarily in mind, so she told Giselle if it would be alright to take a casual wander around the main streets. There are a few hot dog and ice cream vendors selling food and treats. Lillian suggested they could stop and have a quick snack if they got hungry. Altogether, it was a basic plan, yet Giselle seemed to agree with Lillian's suggestion. Thus, the two chose to go on a random stroll around the town of Charleston.

At one point, Lillian happened to pass by the open bar she had previously remembered stopping by to dance with Giselle.

"Did you remember this place?" Giselle asked upon noticing the open bar.

"Of course, we had our first dance here."

"So, you remember!" Giselle remarked sarcastically.

"Honey! I remember every moment we spent together!" Lillian returned slyly.

Giselle snickered, looking away, but her hand reached out to Lillian as they held tight together. The place was open, but couples were swarming outside in a long queue.

Lillian and Giselle couldn't stop by even if they wished. So, they moved on from there. Eventually, the two stopped to get some soft serve ice cream cones. It was pretty breezy outside, so eating ice cream was like welcoming the winter- straight to their faces.

Post ice cream, the two kept walking, and Lillian eventually asked if they should try to get dinner. Giselle thought about it. And after trying a few places, all of which had couples or families waiting in line, Lillian and Giselle eventually decided to return home on time for dinner.

Without Lillian or Giselle, Edwin and Lia spent quality time teaching the little girl how to make chocolates. Lia was still young, so Edwin handled most of the preparation while only letting Lia watch him make it. Even so, the little one enthusiastically listened. After leaving the chocolates to cool down, Edwin chose to share album pictures with Lia. The little girl was eager to see photos of young Lillian, and they had a great time laughing and sharing stories about Lillian and Giselle. Time passed as Edwin noticed it was time for dinner. He was willing to cook anything Lia wished, and as expected, Lia asked for his spaghetti, the meal he cooked for her when they visited last time.

Edwin almost burst into tears from seeing Lia recognizing his cooking. He immediately agreed to make it special for the little girl. Lia said she'd help, but Edwin asked her to watch some TV since it would be faster if he worked alone.

Lia followed and left to watch television while Edwin started preparing for dinner. Since Lia admitted that she liked the spaghetti, Edwin ended up making a lot. They ate dinner, and Edwin wondered if he had to add the remaining spaghetti to the already sitting leftovers in the refrigerator. Just as he sighed while joining Lia in her cartoons, they heard the doorbell. Edwin answered to meet two starving women waiting outside.

"Why are you two home so early. It's still 10," Edwin exclaimed.

Lia looked out and saw her mother and Lillian returning home. She followed Edwin and repeated the same, except Lia didn't know if it was good or bad.

Edwin yelled that it was bad and that they had counseled them to spend more time.

"Dad, it's been hours. We were simply wandering around."

"Why didn't you eat at a restaurant?"

"Almost every restaurant is either full or having people waiting in line. We didn't want to wait. So, you made dinner for us, right?" Lillian asked.

Edwin looked at Lia, and they stared at each other before Edwin happily admitted that he made Lia's favorite spaghetti. Lia yelled from behind how great it tasted. Like Lillian, Giselle was also tired from all that walking, so she remained quiet for most of the time.

***

Edwin and Lia watched from the living room. Edwin was unhappy with how the couple returned even without having a pleasant dinner on Valentine's Day. He knew of Lillian's sulking, and that's why he wanted to give them a chance to spend time alone together.

'What a letdown!' Edwin thought.

Immediately, he withdrew his remark of judging his daughter's relationship. He shook his head to throw out any of such disposition. He kept an eye on them, silently eating while barely holding a conversation. Edwin realized that the two must have exhausted themselves from walking around the streets.

All of a sudden, Edwin realized that he still had a chance. He whispered to Lia, asking if the little girl wished to get involved in his plan. Having been involved in a secret project lately, Lia accepted right away from sheer excitement. She asked Edwin about his plan. Soon, Lillian and Giselle finished sharing the spaghetti for dinner. Lillian brought wine to the table as the two made a toast before enjoying their dinner.

Post dinner, Lillian and Giselle thought they could suggest spending a movie night together with everyone. As they walked to the living room to announce their plan, Edwin and Lia looked like they were getting dressed to leave somewhere.

Lillian quickly jumped to question her father.

"Giselle," Edwin directly addressed the mother of the child.

"We made plans to visit one of my good friends and spend the night there. He lives with his family, and they got a kid the same age as Lia. I remember mentioning her to them on your last trip. They have asked me to bring you guys over at least once. Even today, they inquired about Lillian. So, don't worry. They live on the same street, just three houses down. We'll be spending the night there. I promise I'll take proper care of Lia and immediately call you in case of any emergency."

Edwin's huge explanation left both Giselle and Lillian thunderstruck. While Giselle took time to process what was happening, Lillian jumped again to stop her father.

"Dad, this- we don't… we're not… don't be like this. Stay, it's fine."

"Lillian, you don't understand. Just take care, you two!" Edwin brushed her off while glancing at Giselle, asking if it was alright with her.

Edwin wasn't seeking Lillian's approval but Giselle's. So, he waited for her reply.

Giselle hesitated before she called Lia to ask if she would be fine spending the night in a new place.

"I'll be alright, mom! You two have fun," Lia replied.

Her innocent response was able to encourage her mother. She asked Edwin if he could take good care of Lia, and upon receiving his word, Giselle finally agreed to the plan. With that, Edwin and Lia left the house for the night.

***

Lillian stood like a statue, watching as her father abruptly decided to take Lia with him and have a sleepover at a friend's place while Giselle let him have his way. The two saw Edwin leave with Lia. They happily waved goodbye before disappearing down the street.

'What just happened?' Lillian thought to herself.

Even if Giselle believed Edwin, Lillian was shocked to see Lia getting along with the old man's sneaky plan.

'What made the little girl accept this ridiculousness?'

As Lillian wondered, she commented how Lia would be a bad influence on her father.

"Really? I think she is a good influence on him. I mean, that's the whole point of grandparents. They spoil their grandkids."

"Oh, in this case, she is spoiling him!" Lillian exclaimed.

"What do they think they're doing? She added under complete embarrassment.

Meanwhile, Giselle went back inside, ignoring Lillian's complaining.

"What are you doing?" Lillian caught Giselle.

"Lillian, they literally left us alone tonight to celebrate Valentine's Day. What else do you think? We might as well head upstairs. Come on," Giselle said to walk upstairs with confidence that shocked Lillian Grey.

This was new, and it threw Lillian in goosebumps. She swallowed air in awe from seeing Giselle act so assertive.

Shortly, Lillian obeyed to head upstairs as well. Upon reaching, she waited outside her room. Her mind ran thousands of images of how Giselle would be waiting for her inside that room. This was not on the agenda, yet it confused Lillian about whether to go along with the current mood or not. After all, Lillian Grey wasn't in the mood to begin with, especially since coming here had promptly killed her romantic spirit. She took a deep sigh and opened the door with a stiff face.

Giselle was sitting on the bed.

"Took you a long time!" she noted.

Giselle signaled Lillian to join her, and Lillian went and sat down next to her on their huge bed.

"Did you finally get over yourself?" Giselle asked.

"What?"

"You were sulking ever since we left our home."

Lillian recalled her state throughout the travel and even upon arriving here. Only after a long nap and eating her father's cooking did she calm down a little.

"Well, I wasn't necessarily sulking," Lillian clarified.

"Really? Then, how would you describe your mood all day?"

"Moody?"

"Don't Lie."

"I'm serious. But, it's okay since it was you who asked."

Giselle gets touched all of a sudden by Lillian's words. She did slightly detest the fact that Lillian was able to get away with her sulking all day, except not during their casual date. Nevertheless, Giselle knew what she had asked was something not everybody would accept and go along with it. Choosing to visit a family member for Valentine's Day, especially when you just got back together in a relationship, was a risky move. And because it was Lillian and how far she would go to make her Giselle happy, Giselle knew of it, and that's why she could bravely ask.

"Thank you very much for listening to my wish," Giselle confessed.

"Are you happy now?"

Giselle nodded to admit that she was indeed very happy.

"I don't understand why you would still wish to come here for our first Valentine's Day. I mean- look at those two. They left to give us privacy."

"True. But, think about it. We wouldn't have been able to get some privacy back home."

"Nah- you're wrong," Lillian said to doubt herself at once.

She realized with Lia being there- they couldn't leave a child alone to enjoy personal time together. Lillian hated to admit it, but she agreed to the current advantage.

"If you agree so, let's not waste time. What do you say?" Giselle whispered close to Lillian's ears, following up with a clever wink.

Lillian swallowed air again. She was definitely not used to Giselle being so forward, making a move on her when it usually is the opposite.

Lillian had to ask the reason Giselle was being overly proactive at the moment. She needed to know the reason behind all that brave upfront.

Giselle couldn't help but laugh at Lillian analyzing her intentions. She admitted being nervous at the beginning when they arrived in the morning. However, Giselle grew comfortable after spending time with Edwin and seeing Lia enjoy skipping school. Somehow, she ended up feeling like being at home for the holidays. While confessing, it made Giselle wonder how it would feel if she spent the holidays here. Lillian began to admire as soon as Giselle started talking. The two were there at this memorable house left in the memory of Lillian's mother. The last time they were here, it was for Giselle, who randomly showed up to try and convince Lillian.

It was the time when Lillian had stumbled upon Giselle for the first time in several years. She found her at Shane's place, and following her chase, Giselle left again without a word. Giselle kept talking as Lillian quietly listened to her while remembering what all happened to them to reach this place.

Encountering each other after a long time, both Giselle and Lillian were left in shock. Giselle chose to disappear sheerly from not being able to meet Lillian face-to-face. Meanwhile, it had left Lillian Grey heartbroken. All the old scars seared and pushed her to madness. As a result, she chose to visit Edwin. She needed to go home to avoid falling into the insanity again. A lot more happened subsequently, yet Lillian and Giselle eventually came together in the end. Somehow, Lillian felt it was worth the pain or so. She obviously never wanted to leave Giselle's side ever again. Nevertheless, the fact that they were together had often alarmed Lillian. Even now, as Giselle kept going on about planning to celebrate the holiday with Edwin and finding him Christmas presents, Lillian saw her sitting beside- like a real person.

Pretty soon, Giselle caught Lillian staring hard at her. She stopped talking about the holidays at last.

"Why are you looking at me like that? What are you thinking now?" Giselle asked.

Without responding, Lillian leaned to kiss Giselle. She wanted to confirm if this wasn't a dream. It was one of those kisses that often left Giselle melted under Lillian's charms. She knew this was recurring, but Giselle could sense the meaning behind such intense kissing. She knew Lillian was feeling unsettled and that she needed to know that this was all real.

Being separated for years and reuniting to work on all of the indifferences, the aches, and the underlying love that kept them alive even under great struggles, going through these had made Giselle and Lillian understand each other very well.

Even startled at first, Giselle didn't bother stopping the kiss any further. She responded to Lillian, and the two moved to get closer, eventually intimate.

Just as Lillian was getting to remove Giselle's blue blouse, she froze for a second and then immediately shook her head before falling to her side.

Giselle asked what was going on and why did Lillian stop all of a sudden. Lillian hid her face to shyly admit that she couldn't get intimate with Giselle in this room. A house that was filled with the memories of her mother and the ache of missing this motherly figure had scarred Lillian from ever feeling like she could get intimate easily with her girlfriend. This was the reason why she didn't want to encourage Edwin Grey's foolish idea to leave her alone with Giselle. Lillian knew she wouldn't be able to get in the mood or wish to make love to her girlfriend. It wasn't necessarily a taboo, but to Lillian, this was a sacred place left in memory of her lovely mother. The fact that her father and Lia had left so that Lillian could spend Valentine's Day alone with Giselle drove Lillian to embarrassment as she blushed bright red, causing her to hide from Giselle's vision.

Lillian expected Giselle would understand and go along with her. But to her surprise, their roles got switched as Giselle got on top of Lillian. She wasn't going to let anything stop them.

"Giselle- wait, I don't… I can't," Lillian stuttered as Giselle continued to strip herself along with Lillian. She leaned down to kiss Lillian, ignoring her complaints.

"Giselle, no- I… don't want to."

"Then, don't do anything," Giselle suggested.

Lillian uncovered her face to look at Giselle.

"I know. This isn't like usual, but are you going to stop now. I really want you, Lillian. I know I changed plans, but- I know I might be brave right now. So, help me out. I need this. I- I- we've been apart and distant for a while now. I had to hold back myself all this time. I- just want you, Lillian Grey!"

Giselle's vulnerable confession smacked some sense into Lillian's fuzzy head.

It was bright red, the place where her bare skin brushed was still burning, while she quivered slightly under half-stripped clothes. In such a state, Lillian knew Giselle was at her limits.

The self-posed ban no longer mattered, and she nodded to let Giselle do whatever she wanted with her. Unlike before, Lillian now helped Giselle get fully undressed as they continued to kiss each other under a strong desire. The desperate need made them to take advantage of their situation shamelessly.

Lillian continued to undress her garments after stripping Giselle. It was still Giselle that led them both, and Lillian was simply following that trail.

This side of Giselle was so alluring that Lillian couldn't believe what she was witnessing and what she was doing. All these external thoughts that kept her restrained slowly slipped out of her conscience, leaving only the sensation of Giselle's soft touch against hers. Not only was Giselle being bold by getting on top of Lillian, but she was also the one to take charge that night. She made love to Lillian in her own tender way. Every moment had left Lillian gasping. The image of Giselle that Lillian had registered deep in her memory was now replaced with something bolder and more attractive. Lillian let Giselle's desire reach every part of her body. Every sensation they felt together was turning into endless void of pleasure. The more Giselle caressed Lillian, the more she lost herself under this women's lust.

L’AVIS DES CRÉATEURS

There! Again late, but I did take the time to make sure it was right!

And if you thought that I was heading to the smut town, then you are wrong. I realize a mellow way to describe their intimacy was best suited, especially considering how far the novel went into the level of Romance.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter and see you on Friday!
