Aeryn headed out of the mansion she knew that she would destroy one day. She quickly went into the woods behind the estate, a sense of urgency about her. Her older brother struggled to keep up with Aeryn's quick pace. When he did finally catch up, however, he asked her where they were going to eat and sleep and how they were going to live on their own.
"First, we both have money we saved up, right?"
"Yeah..."He said
"And I discovered somewhere perfect for us to stay."
"Really?" He said incredulously.
"Yes. And third, we are not going to be alone. The twins will be with us, remember?"
"Exactly who are the twins? You keep babbling on about them."
"You'll see." Is all she says in reply.
They walk through the forest in silence and finally come across a clearing. There was an abandoned castle, in ruins. Even though it was decapitated, it still showed signs of its former beauty. But, Mason looked at it disapprovingly.
"This," He said and pointed at the castle, "Is where you're going to stay?"
"Shut up and trust me."
Aeryn headed towards the ruins. A few feet before it, she took out her dagger and sliced the area above her heart, leaving a small cut.
She raised her hands and said
"Se revelare verum tuae." The blood from her chest rose slowly and swirled around the ruined castle.
