Chapitre 14: In Danger
6 Months had passed by and right now, I'm currently sleeping on Bed-Chan with my plushies. By my estimations, it is around 1 year before the main timeline starts. In those 6 months I have been continuously switching between training, completing mission and eating vitamins ; Human of course.
I have completed all of the assassination 1-Star, 2-Star and most of the 3-Star missions, in the end i got a grand total of 71.000.000 Yen (630.000 USD)!!! With the money i ended up buying the apartment from the owner with the price 2 times higher than the market, which shocks the owner greatly, he of course accepts.
The reason i bought the apartment form him is because i have already grown accustomed and attached to the room itself, especially Bed-Chan, she now have a lot of friends to play with, i have bought her a lot, i mean a lot of plushies in the past 6 months, all of them came form Giantso though, there's bear, penguin, cat, dog and even seal plushies there! In the end I turned my bedroom into an Animal Kingdom....
I also installed the gaming system King and Saitama loves to play with in the living room and i kind of got addicted to the game for a week straight, after that i got bored so i just left it there to rot.
Putting the apartment aside, in the first 2 months i have eaten enough nutrients to let me change into Venom and i must say, the feeling of that is amazing as fuck! My power is doubled right away and i could feel the multiplier on it will just increase as i grow stronger!
After those 2 months, in month 4, i accumulated enough nutrients to become spiderman, meaning releasing web here and there, swinging through the cities with it, of course in camouflage, the time is not ripe yet for me to show myself to the world.
I also absorbed a lot of powers from "strong" humans, mostly i got them from the bodyguards of my target and some from monsters lingering around the town. With a lot of variety in this monsters, the powers i got also have a lot of variety, some are useful while some are just...shit.
There is a monster with the ability to spit sticky saliva....shit right away so i just killed it without getting it's power, but there are also some monster with a good ability. I met a member of the seafolk, an Axolotl, i'm not sure if an Axolotl is from the sea but who care, it's power is amazing.
The power is actually very basic but powerful, immense regeneration. At first i don't know how i can get Axolotl's properties as it shouldn't be a skill but i accept it anyway. Now, in my human form, i can just cut off a finger and it will regenerate completely in just a few hours and if i coupled it with Venom's another immense regenerative capabilities, it will regrow in 1 hour!
There are still a lot of bizarre abilities i got from monsters but that's not all i get from it, i also got fame, all the monster i killed have been recorded to the HA (Hero Association) Record and now I'm in A-Class 3rd Rank, passing all of Atomic samurai's disciple but is behind the 1st and 2nd A-ranked heroes, Metal bat and Sweet Mask respectively.
I don't really like my identity known to the world so i told them to keep my private information private, sadly i can't hide my face like Blast can, well at least my powers are hidden, oh and i got a hero name, "Unknown" since the public knew almost nothing about me except my face and name,
i didn't choose Venom as i have plans for that.
All those 6 months has provided me a lot of improvements in more than 1 aspect, maybe all of them, immensely at that, i now can travel at 2000 m/s and 3300 m/s without and with the Venom suit respectively.
I of course am happy with my progress and all that but there is one thing that doesn't improve and sad about, my relationship with Lily. I have always brought my mobile phone with my be it in training or in mission but she never called, guess that's about right, i only told her to call me when she needed my help, heck do she even still have my phone number.
I too don't really make any move on my relationship with her as it doesn't feel right you know, even if i could alter my outer appearance to that of a 14 year old and be the same age as Lily, my mind is still a 25+ years old man. I began to rethink if i should really go for Lily.
Lily is probably on another city anyways as i haven't met with her even once in those 6 months..
Well that's that i guess, with her power, i know that she could reach B Class rank 1 easily so why is she so weak in the anime?
I got up from Bed-Chan and took a shower, its not necessary for me to take it but it feels refreshing so why not.
I finished and materialize my clothes and now i don't know what to do, i can just continue training and completing the last bit of 3-Star Missions, thinking about the missions, something is wrong.
I have completed many and many missions tasked from the Ninja Village but why haven't they search for the one who have completed it, doesn't really matter if they search for or not though since right now I'm confident i can escape from them, possibly kill.
*Me change POV to 3rd Person*
While Jack is still thinking about what to do, he heard his phone rang, Jack was startled and though 'Could it be?'. He moved at his maximum speed and took his phone from Bed-Chan and when he picked up the call, hoping for it to be Lily, he was....
"FUCK YOU!" Screamed Jack

Turns out the phone call is from his previous customer and is asking him to do him a favor, That time Jack was really hoping for it to be Lily. After he hangs up, another call cam in, he checked the number and it was different so he picked up the phone.
"Hello?" Said Jack hoping it to be Lily
"He....lp me" A soft voice replied to Jack which immediately will immediately make anyone's heart ache, Jack was flustered, he knew it was Lily but she sounds like she's in...pain
"Tell me where you are and i will go to you!" Jack said with a nervous but firm tone, Lily, on the other side is struggling to answer him but managed to say 1 letter
"C.." Said Lily before the call ended, Jack now transformed into Venom has left all of his things behind not even bothering to close his apartment door as it closed itself and ran full speed straight to C-City within his heart he thought
'Please be safe Lily, I'm coming for you!'
