 What made things worse was the fact that even more Gargoyles were flying out of the open windows of the Black Church. These Gargoyles were an entire size larger than the ones before and were even more ferocious in battle.

 A creature with a lion's body, eight legs, a pair of black bat wings and a scorpion tail climbed out of the window. Its entire body was greenish-gray as if it was a sculpture. Its size was several times that of an ordinary lion, but it was far more agile, moving across the Black Church like a lizard. It didn't take long for it to scale the tower at the top of the Black Church.

 A roar rang out and the manticore spread its wings to leap down from the tower. The Gargoyles frantically scattered, as if terrified by this creature.
