Chapitre 17: VESPA VS KEISER
The light faded away from Keiser's body and appeared on the air in the shape of an orb. The orb was spanning at a ridiculous speed.
He exited the restaurant and dashed towards Vespa who was ravaging the battlefield with his bloody mace on hand. A storm of arrows was buzzing and fizzling through the sky, injuring or killing whomever that was unfortunate enough to not shield themselves from the incoming arrow.
Roho and Ark hijacked the canons and started blasting them towards the enemy, creating severe damage to the enemy lines especially the bowmen.
Even though Vespa ordered half of his spearmen to retake the spirit canons. The people of poor town were clobbering and clubbing against the shield wall. They had poor equipment and no experience in war. The only thing that awaited them on this battlefield was a slow and painful death, one that was full of regrets and tears.
" The scum of the outer skirts. you have always been an eyesore and got in the way of our beautiful view of the ocean." Vespa laughed maniaclly as he butchered the men one by one.
The brave youth that first decided to stand with keiser on the battlefield saw his friends fall one after the other. He looked towards the ground and saw his own reflection on the molten-red blood that has built up on the ground, just like the rain water that fell from the ever-expanding blue sky. The youth had long dark straight hair which was rough and unkept. He wore a no longer white but a dirty bloody linen top, riddled with holes. Fresh Red Blood spurted from his wounds and dripped to the ground. His white face changed colour with blood smeared all over his body. His hand was trembling as he wiped his face.
He dropped on his knees and with a wobbly voice. He said," Is this it for us. Are we all going to die here?"
A bloody mace which was three times the size of a normal one. The same mace that took the life of his friend came for his. It felt like there was no running from it. A bloody mace that takes five poor souls with a swing and ten poor souls with another swing. It was the grim reaper of the battlefield.
The brave youth closed his eyes." Sorry Sara, I cannot take you to highest mountains of the world."
The youth waited for the bloody mace, however it never came. He could still feel the wet bloody ground, he still heard the shouts and screams of the fighting, He could still smell the awful and terrible stench of the battlefield.
He opened his dark brown eyes and was shocked to see the bloody mace, an inch from squashing his brain. Blood fell onto his forehead from the mace. He quickly crawled away.
He saw a bright white light enveloped the mace and held it in place, and by following the strings of light. He saw the stranger that he had never seen before on poor town. The youth admired the stranger for standing up for them at the risk of his own life. When he could only just walk away, like all those travellers before him, however he chose to stay and fight for them.
Keiser seething with anger and with a taut voice. He said," It's time to put an end to this madness. If you love to kill that much, then come I will face you."
" So, you are still alive. How careless of me?" Vespa smiled cunningly.
The youth stood up and bowed. His voice still shaky and his body was trembling. " Thank you for saving me."
Keiser spared him a glance and with a soft voice. He said." it's nothing. In fact, I am only scared that I cannot save the rest. Could you please help the old singing man? Tell the people to retreat into the restaurant. Our fight is not yet over so don't give up!!"
"Well, isn't this touching. I am sorry to wake you to the reality, but you are all going to die here today. None will be left alive." Vespa looked enraged.
He broke the light that surrounded his mace into pieces. He lunged forward aiming to kill the boy. "The weaker ones first and stronger ones after."
"As if I would let you." The orb that was spanning above Keiser suddenly stopped and released dozens of huge Light swords towards Vespa.
This caught Vespa off guard. He wasn't expecting such type of attacks from Keiser. From the brief exchange with him. He thought Keiser was only a weak Siris that could only control a sword of light.
Vespa tried to block all the sword with his winds. However, he was a second too late as one of the swords penetrated deep into his right arm causing him to bleed.
He looked at his bleeding arm. " Blood, Blood, Blood. I love it! I love it!"
'BRING FORTH A STORM WIND FAIRY' Vespa awakened his gift. Three Miniature version of huge storms appeared an inch away from his back.
Jerry was running all over the battlefield and strangely no one seemed to notice him. He ordered the people of poor town to retreat into the restaurant and there in exit through the back door. There is a salvation path.
The people of poor town that were too scared to fight were the first ones to hear of the news. They crawled past the battlefield and went straight as they screamed," salvation has come! salvation has come!"
The bartender, Roho and Ark also heard the news from Jerry.
There was no need for the spirit canons anymore. It broke apart after it released the last blast taking away five more lives from the Enemy.
The spearmen that Vespa sent to retake the spirit canon were all laying on the floor unconscious.
Both the black Dragon and the Red-haired man moved back to the front lines. They both decided to hold off all the enemies here as their comrades retreated to the restaurant.
