Chapitre 12: BATTLE IN THE OUTER SKIRTS
Inside the restaurant.
Hamil and the bartender run and stood in front of Iman. Both with their weapons in hand, ready to engage whoever that was attacking.
" What the hell was that?" asked one of the beast man customer that was inside the restaurant. He fixed his hat as he tried to get up from the ground by leaning on the table, but he fell right back down, drunk to the point not recognising danger.
" That was a spirit canon. I guess they couldn't wait anymore and finally decided to take action." Iman had a stressed look on her face.
Hamil looked back at Iman. A warm smile on his face. " Rest easy I will definitely protect you."
Iman kicked him from the back and with an annoyed look on her face. "Tsk, as if I need any protection from a lizard. Go and die somewhere."
Hamil seemed to enjoy the moment instead of shouting in pain. His scales were also changing in colour. He is a unique beast man. Whenever he feels sad, happy or any other feelings. His scales would change colour depending on his emotions.
"But, why would they attack here. it's not our base. This is a civilian area." said the bartender while he fixed his glasses. He was already used to such situations, so he didn't interfere with Iman and Hamil.
Mama and the old singer were leading the rest of the customers through the back door. They had no intention of joining the fight whatsoever.
Mama had a saddened look on her face as she led the last drunk beast man out of the back door. " A lot of innocent life will be lost again. Just like that day in the past. I have a bad feeling about this Jerry."
Jerry was the name of the old singing man. He was a famous bard, a doctor and a fighter back when he was in his primes. But now he was just another old man living in the town of the poor.
He looked at mama and caressed his beard. " hopefully not as bad as that day. But it seems like an inner battle within the city has already begun. We should be ready to move cities at a moment's notice. we can't expose Shanel to all this violence."
Roho and Keiser came running out of the kitchen passing by Mama and Jerry. They went straight to the main room.
" What happened? what was that noise?" asked Keiser as he looked around the restaurant and not finding anyone on the chairs or the whole floor except for the members of 'Happy Gang.'
Suddenly, the only door left on Mama's restaurant came flying and crashed on one of the gang members. The same one the door crashed on last time when Keiser kicked open the door in the Happy Gangs base. Lady luck wasn't smiling on him at this day.
" how lucky, I was pissed off thinking I wouldn't get any achievements taking care of the Happy Gang, however, looks like I will be the one taking all the credits. Poor Division commander Vespa." The person who just spoke looked crazed with his eyeballs twitching. He had a purple robe and his shoes were bloody.
"who is this scary looking uncle, is he one of you friends?" asked Keiser as he looked at Iman's direction.
"How dense can you be." Iman shaked her head. " he is one of the inner disciples of the Usman Clan. A fake siris."
" How dare you say am a fake siris. I will let you know that am a real one. once I capture you and make you my plaything. Red haired whore." The man removed and threw his robe at Iman's direction and run towards Keiser and Roho.
He removed two Large saber from his back. and poured a huge amount of soul power into the sabers. He shouted, 'DUAL WATER BLADE TECHNIQUE'.
Keiser parried the incoming saber attack with his sword which he held in one hand.
Roho held the saber not allowing it to move one inch.
Mativo was shocked as no one ever dared to stop his sword. It had the force of slashing apart a 1000 kg boulder, however an evil smile formed on his face the next second. "You should have dodged my attack."
Water started forming in the tip of his saber and within seconds it increased in size engulfing both Keiser and Roho.
Mativo looked at Iman's direction and saw the robe that he threw being cut into pieces by sword slashes, and the last piece was pierced through by an arrow, sticking it into the centre of a dart board that was stuck on the wall.
" A stronger prey. I expect better fight from you, now don't disappoint me." Mativo was smiling wickedly. He tried to move however, his steps were heavy as if gravity was multiple times what it was.
"You should never look away in a fight, unless you want to get killed." Roho already stepped out from the water ball. There were pieces of stone stuck to his body like an armour.
' 10X GRAVITY PUNCH'. The punch was swift and fast. It hit him straight in his face. Mativo couldn't dodge it in time. Bruise formed on his forehead and blood dripped down from his nose. Mativo tried his best not fall as he moved back several steps and held his nose.
' LIGHT PUNCH' shouted Keiser as he stepped out from the water ball. Light in the form of a fist flew straight towards Mativo in an astounding speed.
He couldn't dodge it in time as he was already in the range of Roho' s gravity space. The light fist hit him straight on the stomach and sent him flying back through the door.
" what's up with him. Attacking us out of nowhere. I thought he was gonna be strong, but he is weak." said Keiser with a disappointed look on his face.
"That was but just one of the weaker disciples. If they came with a division commander, then this is going to get troublesome. They are real siris." said the bartender as he returned his bow to its sword form.
"let's go. I'd rather fight outside. They are injured people here. I don't want to involve them in a battle." Keiser walked towards the exit and the rest also exited the restaurant.
when the group came out and saw the massacre, the blood on the road, and dead bodies on both sides of the road. They were shocked. Some of the members of Happy Gang even Vomited.
"Why would you kill this innocent people? What did they do to you? All they were doing was eating food." shouted Keiser. His face seething in anger. killing intention seeping out from his very soul. " Every life is precious, yet you just killed this poor people."
Balkisa was astonished when she saw who was it that crashed onto her. "Tsk you went ahead of us and you got beaten up. serves you right." She kicked him on the chest.
"We are of the Usman clan, we kill whomever we want. Who are you? to shout like that." said one of the disciples the same one who interfered with Balkisa and Mativo earlier.
"Die," Keiser dashed towards his direction with his light sword. His speed was fast. covering the distance within seconds. A downwards slash, Keiser aimed to kill him in one swoop. separating his top body from his bottom.
This happened in a matter of seconds. The disciple didn't even have any chance to dodge it. Keiser was just too fast.
"What an impatient and emotional man?" The disciple clicked his tongue.
Keiser looked at his sword. There were no blood stains on it, and it felt like he cut through an illusion. The person's heartbeat moved at the last second.
"There is no reason for you to be confused. All you did was cut my illusion. The technique is called," 'WATER ILLUSION WAND TECHNIQUE' said the disciple as multiples of them in different shapes formed in front of Keiser.
" So, do you know which one is the real one." Laughed the disciple with a pleased look on his face.
Keiser looked around and closed his eyes. He was concentrating on the heartbeat of the man. Then, suddenly he released a light beam towards one of the illusions.
The robed man laughed," wrong one, try again." as he moved around trying to restore the illusion again."
Hurry up and use the spirit canon!! What are you waiting for? This are real siris we are dealing with!!" Shouted Balkisa as she aimed her simple looking Bow at Roho.
' WATER ARROWS BOW TECHNIQUE'. She rapidly fired five arrows made of water towards Roho, Aiming for His heart.
'SHIELD ARROW GO FORTH' The bartender had a calm look on his face.
The water arrows didn't make it to the target before it hit a barrier made of Dark blue arrows. The water arrows dissipated when it hit the shield failing to penetrate it.
"who told you to interfere bartender. I was just about to destroy it." Roho was displeased.
"don't be cheeky now. I know you can easily defeat her but there is no point. save you soul power, it's for the best. we need to deal with the commander." The bartender then shouted "Happy Gang members. Assist the first captain in destroying the canon and defeating the enforcers."
"Yes, Bro" let's go guys. kill all the enforcers." shouted the gang members as they run towards the enforcers with sword, saber, spears, and other unusual weapons.
They had no formation whatsoever, so the Battle was chaotic with shouts and screams mixed with cries and despair. The enforcers were falling one by one. strangely they couldn't harm the gang members. it was as if they was a layer of poisonous soul power surrounding them. Whenever their weapons got close to them, it starts disintegrating away. The fight was already disadvantage to the enforcers.
"As if I will let you harm my subordinates." Iman was concentrating in using her ability. Making sure she does not harm her people.
Hamil was already concealed and penetrated deep into the enemies' line. He destroyed the only spirit canon, Breaking it apart. This caused a huge explosive sound and fire erupted from the destruction of the canon.
Roho went ahead and faced against the two other disciples engaging them in a cat and mouse fight. They retreated as they shot water bullets towards him. Roho was annoyed with that. " How long do you plan on doing this?"
The fire spread engulfing the buildings and burned more fiercely. It separated most of the civilians from the battlefield. The civilians were still in the area. They had nowhere else to go except for the sewers, however for some reason they all decided to stay away from the sewers for they knew of the dangers from the sewers was more horrific and dangerous. So, they prayed and hoped to survive this day no matter who emerges victorious.
Some of the civilians also picked up weapons and stones, whatever they could use as a weapon and joined the fight, assaulting the Usman clan. When the Happy gang saw this. it motivated them more as they brutally attacked the enforcers. killing and injuring whoever that was on their way.
The captains of the enforcers knew. This battle is going to end up as their loss. So, they ordered and arranged whatever's left of their men in a spearhead formation and slowly retreated.

20 Minutes away from Mama's restaurant. At the Happy Gangs base. There was nothing left on the black-market street. Everything was destroyed. Buildings, stalls, people, merchants and the slaves. They were all killed. none were left alive to tell the tale except for one.
Vespa was sitting on one of the merchants questioning him about the whereabouts of the Happy Gang.
"Dear Sir, I told you numerous times. I do not know. If you are going to kill me. Just do it." The merchant had a pained look with sweat on his forehead. He was grunting as if a huge boulder was on top of him.
A huge blaze of fire erupted in the docks direction. A raging fire burning fiercely as if it was alive. Vespa and his surbodinates looked at the fire with a nonchalant look," isn't that the direction where the disciples went. Come let's go. I think I know where they are, The happy gang." He got up and looked at the merchant, " Throw this idiot in the cell. He is wanted by Amana city. I don't know what he did there? But we will spend a nice time together later and find out!!"
